A stand alone brother’s best friend romance about Ash Talmadge & Amelia Ballentine by USA Today bestselling author K.A. Linde…
Ash Talmadge is everything I shouldn’t want.
My brother’s best friend. A too charismatic, too attractive Southern gentleman. And obsessed with someone else.
But she’s finally out of the picture. I put two years between their break up just to be sure. This is finally my chance.
His focus is all on me. Exactly where I wanted it to be since high school when he saved me from humiliation. And after college when he finally realized I was more than just his best friend’s little sister.
There’s only one person who could ruin this for me.
I’ve waited this long.
I’m willing to wait for always.

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 5 Stars
Ash Talmadge finally gets his HEA with Derek’s little sister, Amelia, and it was everything I’d hoped it would be! I have to be honest, when this series started, I really didn’t like Ash much after I’d finished reading Hold The Forevers. I ultimately thought that Lila was better suited with Cole. And that’s because KA Linde was saving Amelia for Ash! The aftermath of all those breakups between Lila and Ash didn’t just affect Ash — it seriously impacted Amelia as well, and it was such an awesome payoff to see that play out in this book.
I have loved how these books overlap in some years, and seeing some of the same scenes from another character’s POV was wonderful. In this book, for instance, we see the yacht scene where Ash overhears Josie and Amelia talking about Lila’s engagement. A great scene!
Ash and Amelia’s story is bumpy as hell. If you’ve read the other Coastal Chronicles books, there have been hints of that. But I think that these two were so worth the wait. Amelia is vulnerable, so vulnerable, at times, and really wavers on whether or not to give Ash yet another chance. He’s broken her heart over and over again. Can she trust him to not break her heart yet again? The Ash we meet in the present-day timeline of this book is a more mature man than the guy from HTF, and he is swoony and sweet and sexy. He’s a hot mess in the flashback chapters, but those all contribute to the delicious happy ending that Ash and Amelia finally, finally get.
Well done! I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.
