Blurb:

“Strip everything away from us and love is whatโ€™s left. Itโ€™s what we get to keep.”

We thought things couldn’t get worse but the passing days proved us wrong.

I could handle the public backlash and the cops at my door.

I could handle the doubt and disbelief of our friends. As long as we were together, I thought I could handle anything.

As the threats loomed closer, our days together dwindled away. After losing everything that mattered to me, I had to ask myself how much sacrifice was too much?

How far would I go for him?

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 5 Stars

Ella gets her happily ever after in Almost Us, the conclusion to the Almost Duet — but there are some twists that this story takes along the way. Just when I thought I knew where things were headed, the story took a turn that left me a little flabbergasted, to be honest.

There’s so much I want to say about this book, but don’t want to ruin the experience of reading it for others! Almost Us is angsty and emotional. I didn’t cry the way I did reading Almost Him, but it still pulled at my emotions. It’s full of grief, love, loss, wanting, and guilt, and is a sweeping, epic love story in the end.

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

ABOUT S.M. SHADE

I’m a full time author who is hopelessly addicted to iced coffee, love stories, sunshine, and men with full sexy lips, though not necessarily in that order. A voracious reader since I sounded out my first word, I started writing as a teenager and rediscovered my love of writing as an adult. Originally from Indianapolis, I now live in a small Kentucky town.

I love to hear from readers so please feel free to contact me or connect with me on Facebook.
