I would know.
I’m coming home with a brand-new ring on my finger.
My wife? Ryan Bell.
We’re polar opposites.
She’s sunshine and happiness.
I’m grumpy and scarred – literally.
We could get it annulled and no one would be the wiser.
Only problem?
We posted about it online,
And it’s already making headlines.
I can’t afford to get that kind of attention and tank my career,
And Ryan needs my help too.
We make a plan:
Stay married for one year,
Play our roles,
And divorce amicably at the end.
No harm, no foul.
Besides, there’s no way the beauty is going to fall for the beast…

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 4 Stars
This is the first book Iβve read by Tegaan Hunter in a while, and I enjoyed this fake marriage romance. Ryan and Rhodes accidentally drunkenly get married while in Las Vegas with their best friends. But because their photo has gone viral on social media, it will help his rep in the NHL for them to stay married. And Ryan is caught between a financial rock and a hard place, so thereβs a benefit for her as well to stay married to Rhodes for a year. Then they part ways, easy peasy.
But thenβ¦. Lines begin to blur between the two. They both catch feelings, and the fake marriage suddenly feels all too real. This grumpy/sunshine story is loosely based on Beauty & The Beast: There are some really sweet moments between the two, and I appreciated how the scar on Rhodesβ face was a non-issue for Ryan. Narrators Tim Page and Callie Dalton did a great job with Rhodes and Ryan.
I received a complimentary copy and voluntarily left a review.
