Wanting You Close is now available on all retailers!
I never imagined my new roommate would be the man I’d actually fall for. Though I don’t get close to the people I sleep with, he’s been my exception. Archer acts emotionally unavailable while he focuses on starting over, but our connection is too strong to ignore.
He’s rugged on the outside and sweet on the inside—the opposite of my usual type. I see the way his eyes gaze up and down my body, making it harder to keep my feelings in check. Knocking down his walls is no easy task, especially with my brother interfering, but I refuse to give up.
When lines are crossed and emotions bubble over, trouble finds us. We both have pasts that have leaked into our present—now I’m scared it’ll destroy the one secret we’ve been keeping
The payoff for Archer and Everleigh’s story was worth the wait! Wanting You Close is the second book in a duet, and should be read after Forcing You Away.
After that cliffhanger, I needed to know what happened next with these two! Archer proves how much he loves Everleigh over and over again as they try to figure out who was behind her attack. But they both have people from their pasts out to get them, so keeping Everleigh safe — as well as his new friends in Lawton Ridge and his sister in Wyoming —ends up being quite a difficult task.
In between the romantic suspense, there are so many sweet moments between Archer and Everleigh. And lots and lots of sex! These two really love to get it on! But there is a solid foundation of friendship between them, and I love how well they communicate (aside from when he lied to keep her safe).
I loved the cameos by Liam and Maddie from the Roommates series, and Archer and Everleigh’s epilogue was perfect. (Although I would love to read an extended epilogue for all three of these couples!) I was so happy to see that Archer’s sister Annie is married in the future — dare I hope that she gets a story someday?

The Pact, an all new marriage of convenience rom com from New York Times bestselling author Max Monroe is now available!
This Winslow Brother better buckle up—he has no idea what’s coming.
Sexy bachelor Flynn Winslow is such a man of mystery, not even his four siblings know the details of his life. He’s quiet, patient, and kind, and when the time comes for a cool headed perspective, he’s always the man for the job.
But over a decade ago, a fortune teller predicted that one day Flynn would make a pact with a beautiful stranger and his life would take a drastic turn…
This Winslow Brother better buckle up—he has no idea what’s coming.
“Oh my gosh! I’m sorry!” A female voice grabs my attention, and I glance toward the entrance doors of the Wynn to find a blur of wild curls running like a banshee. She bumps into several people trying to get outside, and more apologies blurt from her lips as she almost takes out an older gentleman wearing a cowboy hat.
The man is none too pleased, but his annoyance doesn’t stop her. Out onto the pavement of the driveway, she stumbles a bit on her sky-high heels as she continues her fast-track path to who knows where.
She comes to a halting stop in the center of the entrance driveway, in the middle of cars and only a few feet from my bike, and looks around maniacally with her big green eyes.
What is she doing?
Her breaths come out in harsh pants, and she chaotically brushes pieces of her wild mane of curls out of her face.
“You okay?” I find myself asking, and she snaps her eyes toward mine.
She stares at me like I just asked her to solve an advanced calculus problem, and I lift the visor up on my helmet to repeat my question. “You okay?”
She shakes her head and digs her teeth into the meat of her full, red-painted lips. But just as she opens her mouth to respond, a man in a well-fitted suit comes bursting out of the entrance doors, yelling, “Daisy!”
The beautiful but possibly insane woman shuts her eyes on a heavy sigh, and by the sag in her shoulders and frown on her lips, I have a feeling she’s the Daisy he’s calling for.
“Daisy! Honey! Wait up!”
“Fuck,” she mutters, and it doesn’t take a genius to figure out Crazy Daisy wants nothing to do with this guy.
Maybe he’s the reason for her abrupt departure and reckless sprint out of the casino?
This guy could be her boyfriend. Fiancé. Husband. I don’t fucking know what. But whoever he is, she wants distance. That much is apparent.
And even though I’m supposed to meet my brothers at one of the Wynn’s bars in about ten minutes, the urge to help her is too strong to ignore.
It’s a rare thing for a guy like me, to be honest. I don’t meddle in other people’s shit, but the panicked look on her face makes me want to give her the escape she needs.
But before I know it, before I can even offer the help, she takes it for herself.
Sunny Shelly’s Review: 3.5 Stars
Daisy is a chatty trainwreck in need of a green card. Flynn is a quiet, introspective commitaphobe who doesn’t do relationships. But it seems to be fate when they cross paths in a Vegas casino during his brother’s bachelor party, and when the night ends with them getting hitched in a Vegas chapel, what happened in Vegas follows Flynn back home to New York.
The Pact is a fun, opposites-attract romance full of laughs. The Winslow brothers are a crazy bunch with a great camaraderie, and I enjoyed getting to know Daisy and Flynn as they got to know each other during their marriage of convenience. But I felt like the substance of their romance was missing. They had a lot of crazy sexcapades, and there are some sweet moments between them, but I would have liked to have seen more substance to their relationship before they realized that they were meant to be forever. That made the difference between 3 and 4 stars for me.
The Pact is a standalone in a series, but I definitely think readers will benefit from having read Jude’s book first. I did not, and while I followed along easily enough, I think I would have understood the Winslow brothers more had I started with Jude’s book (The Bet) first.

About Max Monroe A duo of romance authors team up under the New York Times and USA Today Bestselling pseudonym Max Monroe to bring you sexy, laugh-out-loud reads.
Max Monroe is the New York Times and USA Today Bestselling author of more than ten contemporary romance titles. Favorite writing partners and long time friends, Max and Monroe strive to live and write all the fun, sexy swoon so often missing from their Facebook newsfeed. Sarcastic by nature, their two writing souls feel like they’ve found their other half. This is their most favorite adventure thus far.
Clara McKinley, a therapy dog handler, has high standards.
Cursed with a love for the classics, she finds herself often disappointed with the modern world—men included. So, it is no surprise that, at forty-two, she finds herself single and losing hope for her love life.
Until she meets author August Gordon, an attractive—and younger—man with the same passion for all things vintage and equally picky taste. With him in her life, it isn’t long before Clara begins to believe she’s finally met her match.
But when August’s fight with mental illness becomes too much for him to bear, Clara starts to wonder if she possesses the strength—and hope—to help him win the battle.
Wow, Kelsey Kingsley really knows how to punch you in the gut with an emotional romance that is gripping, entertaining, will make you laugh, will make you cry, and make you wring your hands in anxious anticipation for the hero and heroine to work things out.
Hoping For Hemingway was a beautiful exploration of how mental illness can affect a person’s day-to-day life as well as their romantic relationship. August and Clara’s story was as equally heartwarming as it was heartbreaking as the dog handler hoped and waited for her own Ernest Hemingway to fight his way back to her.

I always knew I’d marry my first everything, Declan Yaeger, the Southern boy with Irish roots. That was before he became my first heartbreak, a NHL superstar with a playboy reputation I no longer recognize.
The summer he left our small, Tennessee town, to pursue his hockey dream is the summer my life changed. That was seven years ago, before he became a defenseman for the Boston Hawks. Before I became fixated on my career, losing pieces of myself along the way.
To protect my grandfather’s legacy, I agree to marry my oldest childhood friend, Henry. But when I enter the Church on my wedding day, the grey eyes piercing mine aren’t my fiancé’s.
They’re Declan’s, the last person I expect to show up with an offer of his own. One I can’t refuse even though my heart should know better than to accept.
Will my marriage to Declan heal the broken between us? Or are we destined to repeat the mistakes of our past?
This is a fantastic second chance romance! Vivi and Declan’s stories ticked off all the right boxes for me when it comes to swoon, heat and heart. On top of that, Vivi and Declan’s second chance at love really takes some effort on both their parts to work through the issues that led to their split in the first place.
There are a lot of raw emotions and a lot of hurt between them, but Vivi and Declan’s relationship really grows stronger after it all gets hashed out, and I loved seeing these two fall in love with one another all over again!
Trailblazer is part of Gina Azzi’s hockey series, but it stands alone as an entertaining, page-turning romance.

“We’re basically Romeo and Juliet. But dudes. And without all the dying.”
Frat Wars: King of Thieves was a lighthearted, entertaining, fun, college romance. Bailey and Chad are such likable characters, and I really enjoyed their secret friends-with-benefits relationship that turned into something neither of them was expecting. Having realized not too long ago that he was bi, football player Chad just wanted a semester of college to go hookup crazy, and falling for studious Bailey was not on his to-do list. Meanwhile, Bailey is a recent transfer to the school, likes to stick to casual hookups, and is trying to connect with his frat brothers. Secretly dating the VP of their biggest rival is not the way to make new friends, especially amid a crazy Greek-wide war of stealing small items from the other frats’ houses!
Because their houses are rivals, Bailey and Chad keep their forbidden relationship under wraps. Despite their best efforts, a one-night fling becomes so much more for these two. There isn’t much relationship drama between them, and it is a prank gone wrong that pushes them to go public with that they are dating. Their banter back and forth was wildly entertaining, and when they were alone together, they are so sweet with one another.
There are a lot of funny side characters — brothers from each of the frats — that I presume will be the focus of further books in this series, and Chad and Bailey’s story ends on a nice epilogue set 10 years in the future.

Jody “inherited” her brother’s best friend, Nash, when Joey died, and the terms of his will stated that she had to be Nash’s best friend for 5 years. I wasn’t sure where Willing Me Him was going to go. But wow, I enjoyed the ride.
At first, Nash comes off like the typical commitaphobe playboy. But there are so many more layers to him! In between the dual POV chapters are some Past chapters featuring Nash and Joey, and we really get inside Nash’s head as a younger kid and get to see when he first started to fall for Jody. And there are so many more layers to Nash than I expected! Learning about Nash’s childhood… well, I shed plenty of tears for that little boy.
This story is relatively short — it took me less than 2 hours to read it all in one sitting. It made me laugh, it made me cry, and it ended on such a sweet note! I read an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

~Stella
Bass player Kade Tucker is known as the Magic Man, and not just for his riffs. After breaking off a disastrous relationship, he swears off women. Only problem is, five minutes later, he might have just met the love of his life.
Stella Bell has always done what’s expected of her. Until a secret letter and an unexpected proposal on the same day prove to be her breaking point. For once in her life, she’s going to do something for herself. As fate would have it, that means taking a spur of the moment trip to Nashville.
A hopeless romantic, Stella has been hiding her true self for far too long. And when a gorgeous, mysterious stranger rescues her from a torrential downpour, she decides to go with it. The hot, dreamy Kade Tucker proceeds to enlighten Stella in every possible way, until she begins to realize that some dreams really can come true.
But will Kade’s twisted ex and Stella’s family secrets – and a very accidental pregnancy –get in the way of their HEA? Or is this a star-crossed match made in Music City heaven?
Nashville Dreams is a super-sexy standalone romance starring a hot alpha musician and a sweet & sassy dreamer who’s the one he always knew was out there somewhere. Now that he’s found her, he has no intention of letting any one of her dreams go unanswered.
Nashville Dreams is book 3 in the Music City Lovers series, each of which tells the story of a Tucker sibling. This time, Kade is up, and I just knew from the first chapter when he breaks up with his horrid girlfriend that Kade was going to fall hard and fast when he met our heroine! It legit happens like a hot minute later when Kade crosses paths with college student Stella.
I loved that both Kade and Stella were kind of hopeless romantics, searching for the great love of their life. The one that gives them all the feels and makes them want to live every day with that other person. At first, it doesn’t seem like a world-known country rock star and a college student would have much in common. But these two have that instant connection, and they know what they’ve found in one another is worth fighting for. That becomes really important when Kade’s crazy ex makes a return and threatens to tear apart everything he and Stella are trying to build together.
From the first page to the last, Stella and Kade’s story was magical, and a wonderful addition to the Nashville Nights series! I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

Landed the job of my dreams with the Boulder Bullets. Double check.
Score VIP tickets to see my favorite band, The Whiskey Barrels, perform at the USA Music Festival in Bear Creek. Triple check.
Not only have those dreams become reality, but I nearly checked off the last remaining goal: find Mr. Right when I met Jonah at the music festival.
Jonah and I spent a whirlwind day together under the Colorado Rocky Mountains sky, and he almost turned into my one-night stand.
The only problem with Mr. Right?
He also happens to be a new rookie on the team. Which means he’s all wrong and off-limits because I can’t date one of the players. Even if he checks all my boxes on the boyfriend checklist.
Jonah
Getting drafted out of college to play professional basketball with the Boulder Bullets was a dream come true.
How lucky am I?
Even luckier when Tiler, the cute girl I spent the day with at the music festival but then lost in a crowd, ends up being the new social media assistant for the team. Score!
Although, she doesn’t see it that way. Tiler assures me we were a one-time thing and what started between us is no longer on the menu.
But this Iowa farm boy turned pro player has never backed down from a challenge. I’ll find a way to change her mind and prove that I’m the man she’s been waiting for.
The Boyfriend Checklist is the first book I’ve read by Sierra Hill. I was intrigued by the description, as well as the fact that this All American Boy series has each book written by a different author. This book is a short (20ish chapters) and steamy story about up-and-coming basketball player Jonah and Tiler, the girl of his dreams whom he meets at a music festival. They share an incredible connection right off the bat, but get parted by the crowd before they can take things to the next level. So imagine the surprise both of them get the following Monday when it’s his first day of practicing with the team and her first day as the team’s new social media manager.
Since shadowing Jonah is now a work assignment, Tiler tries to put some distance between them. Which only makes Jonah want her more. He is relentless in his pursuit of her, and eventually breaks through her walls. Is Tiler willing to risk everything she’s worked for professionally? Will she pass up The One for her career ambitions? I really liked the obstacles this couple faced, which were mostly on Tiler’s side. She was really torn over what to do, and her boss, Frannie, was a great sounding board, having been in that position herself of falling for one of the team’s players.
I enjoyed the progression of Tiler and Jonah’s romance, but I felt like the side story of his rivalry with another teammate took too much away from the romance at the end of the book. The story kind of ended abruptly with the focus being on Jonah’s rivalry, leaving me to feel like the epilogue was a throw-in attempt to tie things back to the romance. But overall, The Boyfriend Checklist is an entertaining, quick contemporary romance.

The quintessential question asked to every couple. And the answer is usually some bubbly, lovey dovey tale of being struck in the bum by Cupid’s arrow.
My meet cute (well not so meet cute) is slightly different. I was trolling a wealthy neighborhood in Beverly Hills, searching for someone to take me as their bride, you know, to make my arch nemesis jealous who consequently just fired me.
He was stomping around the block like some sort of gorgeous ogre, mumbling about a business deal gone wrong and attempting to finagle his way out of it.
And that’s when we bumped into each other.
There were no sparks.
Not even a hint of blossoming love.
But next thing I knew, I was scarfing down free chips and guac, listening to this man lay out all of his problems which led to his big ask . . . he wanted me to be his Vivian Ward, you know, from Pretty Woman–minus the frisky behavior.
We’re talking about living in a mansion, intimate double dates, and pretending we were head over heels in love . . . and engaged. Can you imagine?
The absolute audacity.
But people do crazy things when they’re desperate. And I reeked of desperation. So, I struck up a deal.
My one big mistake, though . . . big . . . HUGE? I accidentally fell for the incomparable Huxley Cane.
I had to cover up so many snorts while reading this book because I was in a public place! Lottie and Huxley are HILARIOUS and A Not-So Meet Cute is everything that I needed to escape into after a hellish week.
Pretty Woman is one of my favorite movies, and Meghan Quinn brilliantly takes that movie and turns it into a wonderful, addictive contemporary romcom between a desperate heroine and an uptight billionaire. The escapades that Huxley and Lottie have as they put up the front of a fake engagement had me in tears. Where did MQ get this stuff from, like the impregnating scene?!?
The connection these two shared is fantastic, and it is a lovely slow burn as they fall head over heels for each other.
I was sad to see Huxley and Lottie’s story come to an end, but I can’t wait to see what comes next for his brothers!!

ABOUT THE AUTHOR:
USA Today Bestselling Author, wife, adoptive mother, and peanut butter lover. Author of romantic comedies and contemporary romance, Meghan Quinn brings readers the perfect combination of heart, humor, and heat in every book.
I broke the cardinal rule and slept with my sister’s best friend.
Granted, I’d just found out that I was now a single father to a three-year-old little girl and was low on willpower.
It should also be noted that there’s been sexual tension between us for years. There’s no way it would be a surprise if anyone in our small town found out. That is if we were telling people, which we’re not.
We’re in agreement to keep our affair a secret, especially since neither one of us do relationships.
You’ve probably figured it out already, but things didn’t go as planned.
Piper Rayne does it again! I feel like I repeat myself, but each couple tops the one that came before them! We return to Alaska and the Greene family with My Sister’s Flirty Friend. I’ve loved the banter between Jed and Molly in the previous books, and now we dive head-first into their wickedly delicious friends with benefits affair.
Jed has a lot of baggage due to his place in the family and his strained relationship with his dad. He was a playboy forced to grow up fast when a daughter he didn’t know he had was dropped at his doorstep. He and Molly have had a contentious relationship for years, and when they finally give in, it is magic. I really admired Molly — it showed a lot of strength when she knew that it was time to walk away. Will Jed realize what he had before it is too late?
My Sister’s Flirty Friend is one of my favorite Piper Rayne books to date and I will be coming back to read this one over again! I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.
