Yard Sale is the third and final book of the Legends and Fury trilogy, a spin-off of Punk as Puck. It’s a rivals to lovers romance featuring a tired, injured D-man with a crappy family who is failing to cope at life, a reluctant reporter with a thing for lace and silk who is doing his best to figure out who he is and what he wants, sandcastles, walks on the beach, making unique use of panties, the joys of too many aunties coming to visit, and a steamy, swoony happily ever after.

I’m a relatively new reader of E.M. Lindsey, having only discovered their writing several months ago. But I’ve very much enjoyed the way they craft their stories, and I think Tiago and Aravind’s has been my favorite so far!
These two characters were as opposite as opposite could be. Tiago comes across as a big, burly athlete (at least in my mind!) while Aravind was a femme who liked frills and satin. Tiago is somewhat quiet and reserved, and Ara is a flamboyant force. They have a bit of an antagonistic relationship at the start of this book; Tiago has suffered a career-ending injury and Aravind is a sports journalist reporting on it. An odd twist of fate puts them both on the same ferry out to an island retreat as Ara is looking to reset after leaving his job and Tiago tries to figure out what his next move will be — and one fake relationship to get Tiago away from his toxic family later makes them both realize they’ve found a soulmate.
I really liked what these two brought out in each other. Aravind gave Tiago the courage to stand up to his family rather than retreat into himself and hide, and Tiago gave Aravind the space to be his true self and heal those insecurities and trust issues he had. I loved that Aravind wasn’t “too much” for Tiago, and how Aravind cheered on Tiago as he stepped up for his poor nephew, Oliver, and was just a gentle presence as Tiago dealt with his diminishing vision. (Seriously, what is wrong with that family?!?)
There were so many sweet moments between these two characters, especially Aravind taking photos on his phone so Tiago could see things. They communicated and were honest about their feelings, even when they were scared. And as steamy as Aravind and Tiago’s romance was, it was also incredibly tender and sweet.
