This steamy reverse-gender take on the Pretty Woman story was hot! And it was not what I was expecting. There was so much more to Violet and Gabriel, and I adored these two very complex characters and what they ultimately found in one another.

Violet is at the top of her game professionally, but a horribly abusive relationship left her broken and damaged, and afraid of romantic entanglements. Gabriel is a former model and photographer with a dark past that, through a series of very unfortunate events, led him to become a male escort. Their paths cross when Violet hires Gabe for an industry event, and she ends up being a repeat client.

But there is so much more to their relationship than Gabe’s duties as her escort. My heart broke for them both, and I loved how they raised each other up and healed all of the broken pieces.
