Say I’m The One is a marathon of a book. But stick it out, because it is a doozy! It is part one of a duet, and ends in a cliffhanger, and WOW! I did not see that twist coming!
This story is super angsty, and an emotional roller coaster. So much of Vivien and Reeve’s lives are tied together because of their upbringing. Their parents are best friends, her parents are kind of surrogate parents to him, they were best friends before they started dating in high school. But their close bond starts to fall apart as soon as Reeve’s star begins to rise.
Devastated by the turn of events with Reeve, a brokenhearted Viv transfers to a small college in Dublin, hoping that a semester abroad will give her some space to refresh and start over. Falling for rising rock star Dillon was never part of the plan. He’s the complete opposite of Reeve, yet Viv falls for Dillon just as hard.
How is it possible for her to love two completely different men so deeply and intensely? What happens next is explosive, and this book ends on a shocking cliffhanger that has me salivating to see what the rest of the story holds!
