Sunny Shelly’s Review: The Other Man, by Nicole French

Release Date: March 10

Nina Astor gave me one red-hot night, then disappeared like a ghost.
Three months later, fate drops her in my lap.
The only problem?
She’s beyond off-limits, and we’re worlds apart.
I’m a city prosecutor with a bit of a dark side.
She’s the gilded daughter of a dynasty…and property of the scum of the earth.
And the man who owns her is the subject of my next investigation.
Nina thinks I’m on the right side of the law, but she’s forgotten one thing:
When it comes to her, I’m not a good man.
To claim her as my own, I might sell my soul to the devil himself.
True be told…
When it comes to this woman, maybe I already have.

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 4 Stars

It was interesting to read a book from the perspective of the other man, a guy obsessed with a married woman. Add to that the forbidden romance trope — Matthew is the ADA and Nina’s husband is at the center of a big case. This story was wildly entertaining. Nina seemingly is it all, but she lives a very lonely life in her ivory tower. A chance meeting one night turns both of their worlds upside down.

This story was very well-written, even though Nina bugged me at times. I really liked Matthew as a hero, and understood the torn feelings they both had due to their relationship and how it could impact his case.

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

Meet Nicole French

Nicole French is a USA Today bestselling author of contemporary romance. She’s also a hopeless romantic, Springsteen fanatic, and total bookworm. When not writing, she is hanging out with her family, playing soccer with the rest of the thirty-plus crowd in Seattle, or going on dates with her husband. In her spare time, she likes to go running or practice the piano, but never seems to do either one of these things as much as she should.
