A steamy romance about a sexy (but emotionally broken) single dad and the smart, driven (doesn’t take no for an answer) intern who makes him feel things he has no business feeling.
About The Two-Week Arrangement
Dear Sexy AF Intern,
I know you don’t particularly care that I’m the CEO of this company, and you’re just an intern. I also know you’re not impressed by my power or my wealth, and that’s fine.
You think you’ve got me all figured out from working alongside me for two weeks, but you don’t know me. Not really.
You don’t know that I’m a single dad to twin toddlers, or that those two little girls matter more to me than this entire hotel chain.
I’m not interested in starting something deep and meaningful, but what I am interested in is the way your body reacts to mine when we’re in the same room. You probably assume the concentration on my face is work-related, when in reality, I’m figuring out which I want more–to nail you against the wall, or to bend you over my desk.
While you’re too disciplined to act on it, I’m not. And the night you stepped into my limo, all bets were off.
Sunny Shelly’s Review: 4 Stars
Hot, single, rich CEO who is a single dad (in secret) gets a hot intern whom he asks to pose as his girlfriend. Dominic is charming, and Peyton is a smart go-getter. This book has all the makings of a hot workplace romance.
I really liked the development of their relationship, and how Dom reluctantly introduced Peyton to his daughters. And they totally hit it off.
My one complaint is the scene where Peyton… let’s say, accepts payment. I know that she’s in a bind, but taking it kind of makes her a hypocrite, since she initially judged Dom for hiring escorts as his dates.
Two Week Arrangement is a spin-off from KR’s Allure series, as Dominic is a client of the elite escort service. But there isn’t any crossover from that series, so no need to know what goes on in those books. They are both just set in the same world.
I wish I’d known ahead of time that it was a cliffhanger, so I would have been mentally prepared! Because that ending left me yelling in frustration! I need Seven Nights Of Sin ASAP to finish this story!
I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.
