There is so much I want to say about this book, but I need to make this review spoiler-free so I can’t really get into what I want to get into! ACK! What I will say is that Laine does a fantastic job of weaving past events into a present-day story. She leaves the reader playing a guessing game as to how it is all connected, and the reveal and resolution just cemented for me how Tade (who never wanted a girlfriend) and Raegan (who lived an extremely sheltered life) were meant to be together, perfect for one another.
Because Of Him is a wonderful roller coaster ride of emotions, learning to find strength in yourself and through a partner, setting the demons of your past free and stepping forward to a bright future.
