Sunny Shelly’s Review: Until We Are Gone, by Gia Riley

Until We Are Gone, an all-new
Standalone Emotional Romance by Gia Riley is NOW LIVE!!

I wanted a family with Cash.We had dreams –building a house, kids, a dog, and, yes, even the white picket
fence.

Or so I’m told.

I don’t remember anything about my husband. Not the wedding or the vows we
shared.

The past ten years were erased and with time, they’re supposed to come back.

But this isn’t your typical case of amnesia

What if I’m not supposed to remember?

What if I was meant to forget?

Maybe I don’t want my old life back.

Because if the accident hadn’t happened, I wouldn’t have uncovered the truth.

Losing my memory wasn’t tragic.

Losing my memory was fate.

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 3.5 Stars

What do you do when you wake up one day and all of your memories of the past decade are gone? In Until We Are Gone, Meadow is suffering from amnesia after a devastating car accident. She’s struggling to come to grips with her new reality, and the fact that her memories aren’t returning. As a result, she turns to the bottle, and her alcoholism just drives her further into a hole she can’t claw her way out of. And no matter how hard her devoted husband, Cash, tries to help his wife, their marriage may just be too fractured, too broken.

In addition to Meadow’s struggle with addiction, Until We Are Gone is a romantic suspense that a lot of plot twists. So many plot twists that the story is completely upended, and the reader is given an entirely new perspective to the situation.

So why only 3.5 stars? In the end, I ultimately had too many questions and felt like there were too many loose ends. The big reveal fell rather flat after all that build-up, and I thought it deserved more attention than that. It left me feeling rather unsatisfied by the time I finished the last page.

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

Now Live: Handle With Care, by Nina Croft

HWC_RELEASE BLITZ

“Heat, heart and plenty of happy sighs.”

— Avery Flynn, USA Today bestselling author

Handle with Care, an all-new sexy and emotional second chance romance from Nina Croft is LIVE!

2018-0682 Nina Croft b01

Synopsis

What if all you want is the one thing you can’t have?

First grade teacher Emily Towson always does the right thing. The sensible thing. But in her dreams, she does bad, bad things with the town’s baddest boy: Tanner O’Connor. But when he sells her grandmother a Harley, fantasy is about to meet a dose of reality.

And then he goes and calls her “sensible”…

Tanner can’t believe sweet Emily is standing in his shop. Yelling and waving her hands and looking so god damn sexy he’s having trouble focusing. He’d spent two hard years in prison, with only the thought of this “good girl” to keep him sane.

He really should send her away…

Before either one thinks though, they’re naked and making memories on his tool bench with apparently the oldest condom in history. Now Tanner’s managed to knock-up the town’s “good girl” and she’s going to lose her job over some stupid “morality clause” if he doesn’t step up.

But can this bad boy teach his good girl they’re perfect for each other in time?

About Nina:

Growing up in the cold, wet, north of England, Nina Croft spent a lot of time huddled under the blankets dreaming of faraway sunnier places and ponies. When she discovered both could be found between the covers of a book, her life changed forever.

At the age of eighteen, in an attempt to turn dreams into reality, she headed south in search of the sun. She quickly picked up the perfect husband along the way, and developed a taste for red wine and holidays in warm places.

Soon holidays weren’t enough, and together they volunteered to work in Africa where they both discovered a love of traveling and a dislike of 9-5 work. Afterward they spent a number of years travelling (whenever possible) intermingled with working (whenever the money ran out.) Eventually they stumbled upon a remote area in the mountains of southern Spain where they bought the small almond farm they now call home.

No electricity, no neighbors, no chocolate shops, but on the plus side, stunning scenery, a vineyard to make her own red wine, and far enough away from anywhere to satisfy Nina’s hermit tendencies. She shares the farm with her husband, and an ever increasing number of animals, including Piggles, a three-legged Vietnamese pot-bellied pig.

Nina now spends her days riding her mare Gencianna under the blue Spanish skies—sunshine and ponies. She reckons this is proof that dreams really can come true if you want them enough.

She still travels, but usually only in her imagination, and can often be found lying under a fig tree, wine in hand, plotting stories of love in faraway places.

Nina believes love can come to anyone, anytime, anywhere and her books reflect this.

Sunny Shelly’s Review: Whole Lotta Frogs, by Samantha Harris

Title: Whole Lotta Frogs
Author: Samatha Harris
Genre: Standalone Romantic Comedy
Release Date: June 19, 2018

Blurb
My name is Lennox Brooks and I’ll admit, I’ve made a lot of mistakes. I
don’t take the big risks, I cover my insecurities with snark, I’ve shown my
crazy a few more times then I would’ve liked, and I’ve been trying, and failing
at love pretty much since I first grew tits.
Weirdos, Mama’s boys, the over-coiffed, and underwhelming, I’ve been
out with them all, just read my blog. I’ve got horror stories that would curl
your toes and singe your nose hairs, but none of them compare to the toad who
started it all, Ellis Walker.
He was the boy next door, the charming, infuriatingly gorgeous one who
broke my heart and disappeared without a trace. Now he’s back and determined to
throw my life into chaos, dredging up painful memories just when things were
getting good.
But the thing is there are always two sides to every story.
I’ve spent the better part of my life hating him for everything he put
me through, but without that resentment clouding my judgment how will I ever
resist him?
Love is complicated, appearances are deceiving, and sometimes you have
to kiss a whole lotta frogs before finding your prince.

Sunny Shelly’s Review

Absolutely Adorable! It takes Lennox kissing a whole lot of frogs to find her Prince Charming… and it turns out, he was right in front of her all along!

Lennox and Ellis were childhood best friends, until they got to high school and he began to pick on her, spread rumors about her, tell the other boys to stay away from her, etc. Still, he asked her to prom and she accepted. Only to be stood up as she was standing on her grandmother’s front porch, waiting for the boy next door to take her on a magical date that never came.

Shortly after, Ellis leaves town (Clifton, NJ!) and they lose touch. Until the day he moves back home and is suddenly everywhere she turns. Lennox wants nothing more than for Ellis to leave her alone, but his perception of their friendship is a VERY differernt one — and he’s determined to win her back.

Things get a little complicated when Lennox starts dating Ellis’ business partner, Sawyer, but she’s still in complete denial about her feeligns for Ellis. My heart absolutely broke for Ellis during that fight scene on the sidewalk. He was about as vulnerable as you can get, yet she still stomped on his heart and walked away from him. It all leads to a spectacular moment of recognition, apology and forgievness.

One of the things I loved most about this story is how it focuses on the personal relationships between not only Ellis and Lennox, but Lennox’s friends as well. The secondary characters are just as strong as the hero/heroine. And it wasn’t until I was finished with the book and came back to it several hours later that I realized the sexy times all happened off-scene. We see some kisses and we’re told that they’ve slept together — and while I normally HATE being TOLD something in a story rather than SHOWN IT, it didn’t even occur to me while reading this story. SH created a wonderful world with her words, and I didn’t even notice it was missing!

Overall, Whole Lotta Frogs is excellent binge read mateiral. I reveived an advanced copy and voluntairly left a review.

Excerpt
I got ready in a fury and reread Ellis’s invasive text three times while
I fixed my hair and makeup, shaking my head each time and fighting back a
smile.
I still hadn’t answered when I started walking the six blocks to Sawyer’s
apartment. I’d barely stepped off the stoop of my building when my phone rang.
“You never answered my question,” Ellis said.
My lips curled up at the corners. “Of course, I didn’t.”
“Why not?”
“Because it’s none of your business.”
“Len, your nudity is absolutely my business.
In fact, I’m the CEO of that luscious body and I’m a hands-on kind of leader.”
I shook my head, unable to hold back my smile any longer. “Wow, you
managed to turn a creepy text into an even creepier metaphor. Kudos to you.”
Ellis laughed. “Are you?”
“Am I what?”
“Naked,” he said. “I’m about the hop in the shower and I need a visual
to, you know, help me finish the job.”
“You’re unbelievable.”
“Unbelievably sexy you mean.” I could hear the grin in his voice.
“Whatever.”
“Seriously, though,” he said. “What are you up to?”
“Well.” I took a deep breath, the ice-cold air burning my nose. “If you
must know, Sawyer offered to make me dinner. I’m on my way to his place.”
“Really?” he asked. “Great!”
I stopped short on the sidewalk my feet frozen to the pavement. People
around me grunted their disapproval and moved around me as I stood glued to the
concrete.
“Great?” What happened to throwing his hat in the ring?
“Yeah. I’m starved; I’ll meet you there in ten.”
“You can’t be serious.”
“I love his food—man, that guy can cook. Best decision I ever made, going
into business with him. Even if he’s trying to steal my woman.”
“Ellis!” I shouted into the phone. An elderly woman pulling a grocery
cart behind her glared at me for my outburst. I mouthed my apologies to her
then returned to my phone. “So help me God if you show up at Sawyer’s…”
“What’s the big deal? I’m friends with him. He’s friends with you. We can
all have dinner together, it’ll be fun.”
“You aren’t invited.”
“Oh, Len, I’m hurt. I thought we were moving forward. We’re friends,
aren’t we?”
I sighed. “Yes, we’re friends.”
“And friends sometimes eat together?” I groaned, not liking the route
this conversation was taking. “Sawyer and I are friends, which I expect might
change when I tell him how I feel about you. Oh, what the hell—we’ll just leave
him out of this and you and I will just go ourselves.”
“Smooth, Ellis,” I said. “Real smooth.”
“I am pretty smooth if I do say so myself. Not to mention devastatingly
handsome, and moderately charming.”
“Only moderately?” I asked.
“Yes, but don’t worry; I grow on you.”
I took a deep breath to calm my nerves and closed my eyes. “Please tell
me you are not going to show up this evening.”
Ellis laughed. “Relax. I won’t be interrupting your little dinner.”
“Thanks.” I checked the address and looked up at Sawyer’s building. The
door to which was sandwiched between a dry cleaner and a greasy pizza place.
“I’ve got to go. I’ll talk to you later.”
“Okay,” he said. “Lennox?”
“Yeah.”
He didn’t say anything right away. I just stood there, the cold wind
biting at my fingertips.
“Don’t—,” he started, his voice sounding almost pained.
“Don’t, what?”
I stood there listening to him breathe on the other end.
“Nothing.” He sighed.
I groaned and rolled my eyes. “Bye, Ellis.”

Blog Tour: Sunny Shelly Reviews Rebel Heart, by L.K. Farlow

Rebel Heart by LK Farlow

Release Day: July 26th

Genre: Contemporary Romance

Cover Designer: Jersey Girl Design

BLURB

She wants to see him get wild and he thinks she needs Jesus.

When AJ Adams is coerced into tutoring Brock Larson, she can’t help but wonder what she’s done to deserve such an epic punishment. He’s the very definition of an All-American good boy—and a total kiss ass. He’s the perfect son, the perfect student, and according to rumor, by far the best golfer the university has ever seen. Puh-lease. If he’s so perfect, why does he need tutoring?

With his British Literature grade circling the drain, Brock knows he needs help. But when he meets his tutor, he can’t believe his friggin’ luck. Abby Jane no longer resembles the childhood best friend he used to play hide and seek with. No, she’s all attitude and pink hair and tattoos. Oh, and she hates him, so that’s a plus.

Brock and AJ couldn’t clash more and antagonizing one another is just too easy. But, as they spend more time together, the lines begin to blur, leading them to realize they have more in common than what meets the eye.

Hate. Lust. Love. They all look the same when you’re in denial, and everyone knows you can’t control your rebel heart.

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 4 Stars

I love that the rebel in rebel heart is the heroine, spunky, sassy AJ, and the “good one” is the hero, Brock. These days, they can’t stand one another, but there was a time when they were best friends.

AJ has rebelled against all of the trappings of her youth, refusing to become another socialite. Brock, meanwhile, is the typical boy next door who does everything that his rich dad asks of him. Even if he is putting his own wants to the side in order to make Dad happy. When AJ and Brock’s paths cross on a college campus, she is not at all ready for her past to clash with her present, and it makes for a combustible story since Brock is the only one around who knew her back when.

Abby Jane is a spitfire, and the antagonistic relationship with Brock is one that you just know is going to lead to something spectacular once they get over themselves. And it does. This story was a bit predictable, but a solid YA romance with likable, relatable characters. It was a super fun read that I’ll keep on my re-read shelf.

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

Sunny Shelly’s Review: Dr. Fellatio, by Stella

Title: Dr. Fellatio
Author: Stella
Genre: Romantic Comedy
Release Date: July 30, 2018
Women hire me, pay me an exorbitant amount of money, to teach them the art of…oral stimulation. I’m what people have referred to as a “professional blower.”

In college, it was a great way to make money, needing the extra cash to get me through school. By the time I graduated, I saw the potential to earn more than my degree would ever be able to offer me.

I had a good run…until my ex’s new girlfriend hired me to teach her how to please him.

Or so I thought.
blog_review

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 5 Stars

Another great collaboration from Leddy Harper and Steffie Walls writing as Stella! Dr. Fellatio was the best kid of second-chance-romance. Lexi and Chris thought that they’d be together forever, and even when they agreed to pause their relationship while he was away at grad school, they truly believed they’d be together again in a year or two. Except that life happens, and the best laid plans often go awry.

I loved that both of them remained faithful to one another and there was no other man/other woman drama involved in them getting back together. Just a lot of mistaken identies as Lexi’s alter ego, Dr. Fellatio, is teaching what she thinks is Chris’ girlfriend (but is actually just his roommate!) how to give good head. Using techniques that Chris taught her back when they were dating in college. AWK. WARD!

This book is all kinds of funny. But what I really loved is how Lexi and Chris get back together, amd how his executive position in the company works against them at first. He does not give up when it comes to winning Lexi back, and the choices they make now are more mature than the ones that led to their evenutal split a few years ago. The supporting characters are some of the most awesome book friends I’ve seen in a long time, and they are such a support system for both Lexi and Chris. I guessed by the epilogue that Carl and Jasmine’s story might be next, but the book I really want to read is CeeCee and Christopher’s!!!!

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

“Stella has done it again! Just when you think there is no way she can outshine her last book, SHE DOES! An absolute, must read!” Cheryl Roberts, Goodreads

“You have phenomenal writing that sets up so many awkward moments. From page one to the end you have a stellar five star read.” Red Hatter Book Blog

Best Selling Authors Leddy Harper and Stephie Walls met on a street corner in Savannah, Georgia in 2015, where they quickly formed a bond over book boyfriends and cheap wine.
After discovering the two best friends shared a brain, their alter ego, Stella was born. After all, when you put two romance authors together…you’re gonna get something Stella!

About Avery

USA Today bestselling romance author Avery Flynn has three slightly-wild children, loves a hockey-addicted husband and is desperately hoping someone invents the coffee IV drip.

She fell in love with romance while reading Johanna Lindsey’s Mallory books. It wasn’t long before Avery had read through all the romance offerings at her local library. Needing a romance fix, she turned to Harlequin’s four books a month home delivery service to ease the withdrawal symptoms. That worked for a short time, but it wasn’t long before the local book stores’ staffs knew her by name.

Avery was a reader before she was a writer and hopes to always be both. She loves to write about smartass alpha heroes who are as good with a quip as they are with their *ahem* other God-given talents. Her heroines are feisty, fierce and fantastic. Brainy and brave, these ladies know how to stand on their own two feet and knock the bad guys off theirs.

I needed you.

I needed you to tell me I was beautiful.
I needed you to tell me it was all going to be okay.
I needed you to be with me.
To love me.
To protect me.
I needed you—
but the sad thing is you didn’t need me.
You didn’t want me.
You never cared about me.
And when you gave up on me, I gave up on me too.
I lost myself because I found all my self-worth in you.
And when you left me, I left myself too.
Now I’m left wondering, could I come back for me?

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 4 Stars

This story is short, but so very sweet. Unfortunately for Dimah, after being the butt of a horribly cruel bet, there is much teenage angst before she gets to that sweet ending.

Not The End tackles some sensitive subjects like bullying, and encapsulates all of the angst that goes along with being a teenager: the mean girls, feelings of inadequacy and loneliness, not knowing where you fit in, etc. Luckily for Dimah, she finds a friend in the last person she expected to bond with: jock Aron.

Their relationship is so sweet and unfolds so naturally. I really thought that Aaron is Dimah’s savior, and because he has his own demons to battle, she saves him as well. Together, they ride off into a future they couldn’t envision just a few months before — one that is not the end, but a new beginning. A perfect title for this YA story!

Author Elizabeth Knox: “I really don’t want to spoil this book for anyone, and I won’t,
but what I can tell you is how amazing Not The End is. I can tell you how it
ripped my heart open and made me feel in such a truly authentic way. D’s story
is one you have to read. I think that a lot of girls will be able to relate to
what she went through and it will help them heal. Great job, GG!”
Author Jenna Lee: “Such a powerful short story that will stay with
me forever. I believe everyone that went to high school will relate to this
story.”

A Brunette and Her Books: “There are not enough stars for how beautiful a story this was to
read…This book completely touched my heart. Gianna did a beautiful job of
touching upon real-life situations that many people will find themselves in and
shows that in the end, they will come out stronger, more resilient, and more
accepting of who they are meant to be.”
Magic Beyond The Covers Book Blog: “Such a powerful story. I
was in tears reading it. Dimah struggles every day with other kids at school.
She goes through an emotional few months. Aron goes to the same school as her
and takes notice of her. They form a friendship that she didn’t realize she
needed.”

E&A Book Blog: “A beautifully written story about what
happens when the person you love the most betrays you in the most ultimate way
and learning to live again. I was captivated by this story from beginning to
end. With twists and turns, it took me on an intense emotional journey. A
definite must read.”

Reading With 2 Book Lovers: “I devoured this story. These
characters really spoke to me. Highly recommend this book.”

QUINCY
They say bad things
happen in threes…
I made a mistake. I
kissed the right boy, but married the wrong man. They were friends. Best
friends. Until my life fell apart.
Everything changed.
Something was
stolen and then something was given in its place.
I had so much in my
grasp, maybe it was too much because everything started slipping.
My son.
My husband.
My sanity.
Only one thing
remained the same.
My first crush.
My first kiss.
My first love.
JAMIE
They say you can’t
miss what you’ve never had…
But I swear I had
her. At least for one kiss.
I left the right
girl and tried to replace her with the wrong woman.
It didn’t work
because I still missed her.
I promised my best
friend I’d always look after his little sister. And our other best friend
promised to never break her heart.
He lied.
I didn’t.
We have circled each other all our lives but
our time never came.
We’ve never had our moment until now.

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 5 Stars

This was a fantastic debut novel! The writing is concise, the story flows wonderfully, the characters are well-developed and the journey is one that leaves you in tears and laughing and feeling hopeful all at once.

No One But You isn’t your typical romance. Although Jamie and Quincy have been friends since they were children (her brother was his best friend and his sisters are hers), they only shared one kiss rather than a youthful relationship. But that kiss stayed with them both all these years, and when they both finally find themselves single and in a mutual place, Jamie decides it is their time to be together.

But of course things aren’t that simple!! Because her ex-husband is about to marry his ex-wife! Aside from that tangled web, thus book also tells the story of a woman who suffered a devastating pregnancy loss. Having miscarried myself, I could relate to Quincy on so many levels. The tale that this story tells is an intense one, but it’s a wonderful journey for these two souls who have been orbiting one another for far too long.

Excerpt
“A penny for your thoughts?”
I swear every time he talks to me my heart just about
explodes out of my chest. Jamie’s voice is so different. It’s changed. It’s
deeper and rumbly, and it makes me think and imagine things that I don’t
usually go out of my way to think about let alone imagine. It makes my belly do
acrobatics and my mouth water.
How is that possible? How can his voice alone do that to me?
“Are you still angry with me?” He asks as he sits on the
edge of the hot tub my parents had installed on the first floor balcony.
It’s such a pretty view. The water and the trees that
surround one side of it with all the beautiful grey, white and light blue lake
houses that line it in a cosy and enclosed U. You can just make out the green
rolling hills surrounding us with the large church spire just about breaking
the treeline. It’s just so wonderfully beautiful.
“I’m not upset with you,” I hear myself reply even though I
am a little.
To be honest I think I’m a little more heartbroken that he’s
leaving than I am angry. I was so looking forward to having Jamie around at
Oxford, but he’s going to do an Overseas Exchange to UCLA so he can learn from
some great minds like Doctor Wilson Weller—a teaching and practicing
Neurosurgery god. Or whatever Jamie calls him. Phillip decided to stay close to
home at UCL even though he got an offer to Oxford just like Jamie and Richard
did three years ago. He doesn’t want to leave his new girlfriend, Jamie’s
sister and one of my best friends, behind. I think I’m a little bit jealous of
them, even if am happy for them. Jamie is just coming round to the idea, and I
know that the only reason why he came to find me is probably because he still
doesn’t know how to handle them being so touchy and lovey dovey with one
another.
“You’re not?” He shuffles closer until the side of his thigh
touches mine.
His legs are different too. They have a light smattering of
hair that kind of matches his chest and the trail down from his navel. I can’t
help but run my eyes down his slightly defined torso and down the light trail
of fuzz that leads down to the top of his shorts, all the way down his shorts
to his thighs and knees.
I’m so distracted by all his golden skin that I don’t even
realise how fast my heart is beating until I feel the hammering in my chest
pulsing up my neck to the back of my throat.
 Seriously?
My skin heats as he wraps his arm around my bare shoulders.
His thumbs lightly strumming the string holding my bikini top up around my
neck. It’s like the sun shines brighter in that moment and the UV rays become
laser strong and solely focused on me.
“Then why did you throw the Uni hamper we gave you in the bin?”
“Because it’s stupid. I don’t need wine and condoms and…”
“You say that now, but when you get there you’ll be
thankful. You don’t want to be caught short, the dial-a-condom service isn’t as
discreet or anonymous as you think.”
“Guys don’t even look at me like that.” I shrug.
He goes super still next to me. His arm becomes slightly
heavier on my shoulders and his thumb tucks under the halter neck string of my
red bikini top. He clears his throat and I can hear his Adam’s apple bob as he
swallows.
“Quincy, that’s not true. Believe me, my sisters have made
it a point to tell me every chance they get.”
He pulls me closer to him so that I have no other option but
to rest my head on his shoulder.
“Why would they do that?” I mumble into the soft skin of his
shoulder.
It’s shiny and taught. It wraps flawlessly around his lean
muscled arms with the odd sun freckle here and there. He smells briny and
citrusy. A combination of his cologne, sweat and the lake water.
I inhale deeply as his shoulders shake with humour.
Wait, why is he laughing at me?
“Why are you laughing at me?”
He clears his throat again before he sighs, “You have no
idea.”
“No idea of what?”
Our eyes lock as I look up at him. His bright blue eyes are
like ocean blue sparkling glass as the sun lights them up. They have these
silvery grey flecks that bleed to the edges of his irises and form these thin
dark rings that are only marginally lighter than his pupil.
“You’re so pretty…so beautiful…”
It’s like he can read my mind and steal the words on the tip
of my tongue as he reaches for my hair with his hand and wraps it with my long
tresses.
And if my heart wasn’t already hammering into my ribcage
it’s now batter ramming its way out like it’s trying to break free or get
closer to his heart.
I don’t know. All I know is that I can’t actually say
anything. I can’t verbalise with the way that he’s looking at me. The way his
eyes are eating up every inch of my face and the way they flitter down to my
chest and then up to my lips.
His wet and shiny pink tongue darts out and moistens his
lower lip before he draws said lip in with his teeth and bites down so hard
that the blood and colour drain around the trenches his teeth have made.
I can’t help but mimic him with my own tongue and lips and
teeth. He gasps lightly and as my eyes meet his again the pupils are so big
that there is only a perfectly slim ring of silver speckled cerulean
surrounding them. And I can’t breathe. The air feels too hot and dry. And
thick? Why does the air feel so thick? It feels like I’m filling my lungs with
invisible oil. My lungs feel so full that they have to push the air back out in
deep and long unsteady breaths.
The arm around my shoulders falls and he brings his hand up
to cup my cheek. And I know what’s happening because I’ve seen it in films and
I’ve seen other people around us kiss. I can even kind of picture it in my
mind—what we must look like right now. But I still can’t quite comprehend why
he’s coming closer to me. Why his breathing is just as manic as mine. I can’t
understand why he’s about to kiss me with wide eyes and desperate breaths. The
hand in my hair tugs slightly and my face tilts marginally so that our lips
touch.
Oh, God.
His warm lips are so soft and so tender as they brush over
mine and I want to throw my arms around his neck, straddle his lap and just
fucking devour him.
Fuck, I’m like some lust crazed person.
I don’t even know how I manage to stay so still with all
those thoughts and all the electricity zapping through me.
I don’t know what to do next. If I should open my mouth or
lick his lips. Whether I should touch him. I want to touch. I am touching him.
He’s groaning as he licks my lips and as my hands hold on to
his waist so tight that my nails bite into his flesh. But then it’s not just my
nails biting into his skin, it’s his teeth sinking into my lower lip. It’s his
hand cupping my face so hard that I know it should hurt, I know that it’ll
leave a mark, but I don’t care because it feels so fucking good. It’s his
fingers weaving so tightly into my hair that the sting makes me want to pull on
his hair too.
I can’t help the strangled moan that escapes my mouth as he
slips his tongue inside and licks my own.
I’ve never kissed or been kissed like this before and even
though I’m unpractised and new to this, my hands seem to be in the know as they
travel brazenly down his sides to the top of his swimming shorts and as unsure
as I am, I know that I want to slip my hands under the elastic and become
acquainted with every last inch of his sexy skin.
Shit, I don’t think I’ve ever used that word to describe
another person, let alone a boy…a man. Jamie.
He grumbles a shallow growl right at the back of his throat
as my fingertips skim around the navy elastic of his shorts. His tongue licks
deeper and twirls around mine.
I want more. I want to tell him that I want it too, but I
don’t want to stop kissing him back and I have this unsure tightness in chest
that makes me bashful and fearful that he’d reject me anyway.
I want him to touch me in ways that I’ve only heard other
girls boast and brag that they’d been touched. I want his mouth and his tongue
to taste a lot more than just my own.
Before I even realise it we’re both standing in the middle
of the warm, soft rolling water and his hands are squeezing my bum cheeks to
the point that I think they’ll leave bruises. And it makes me feel excited in
ways that I’ve never felt before and it makes me feel like a livewire.
All this and he never stops our kiss. His tongue tastes mine
with a ferocity that feels like years of need all at once. I rove my hands up
his sides and his back, relishing the feel of his muscles pulling and
tightening under his hot skin. By the time my hands round to his chest and
travel up to his hair our bodies are completely flush and my boobs feel even
bigger and heavier than they already are. My nipples feel sore like they’re
being pinched and pulled and there’s this familiar, yet new ache that’s
building between my legs and the bubbling water is only making that ache
stronger whilst making it feel better at the same time.
I’ve never felt the arousal of a man, but I can feel his and
it’s pressing deliciously to my lower belly. I feel the heat creep up my neck
and flush my cheeks and all I want to do is find a way of getting closer. My
fingers tighten their grip in his sun bleached brown hair and I can’t help but
pull him down to me, even as I feel him softly pull away.
No. Please don’t stop.
