But as many young couples do, Patrick and Kinsey split up — her decision — but by the time she realized what a huge mistake she’d made, Patrick’s actions had prevented them from being together again.

The prologue begins ten years later when Patrick and Kinsey are reunited under difficult circumstances. But Patrick refuses to let the one who got away escape from him again, and spends the next two years asking Kinsey out. Every single day. Because he just wants one night to convince her that they still belong together.

The sweet story goes back and forth between Patrick and Kinsey in the present, and memories of their youth, weaving a wonderful story of forgiveness, soulmates and everlasting love.
