FINN by Ashley James is AVAILABLE NOW
Blurb:
Falling for my girlfriend’s twin brother wasn’t what I had in mind when I hired him to be my son’s nanny.
Working on my family’s cattle ranch, the hours are long, and sometimes unpredictable, so when my regular nanny quits, leaving me in a pinch, I have to think fast.
In walks Ash Tudor.
My opposite in almost every way.
He’s cheerful and bubbly, has horrible taste in music, and does yoga in my yard almost every morning in the tightest shorts I’ve ever seen.
Not that I’m looking.
But it’s none of those things that have me scratching my head and second guessing everything I thought I knew about myself.
No… it’s the fact that he’s a him and I can’t seem to keep my eyes away, no matter how confusing that may be.
I’m nearly thirty, and never once have I looked at another man the way I catch myself looking at him.
The feelings and urges growing inside of me make no sense, and then when he gets a special delivery to the house of items he plans to use on himself, I can’t stop imagining him doing just that… Or imagining me using them on him.
But confusion and curiosity aside, I can’t fall into bed with my son’s nanny.
Doing so would be reckless and irresponsible.
No matter how tempting it may be.

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 4 Stars
Finn was a really well-done, emotional book of finding love in the place where you least expect it. Finn and Ash’s story had a lot of depth to it, and that extended well beyond the forbidden factor of Finn being Ash’s twin sister’s ex. Amid the flirtations and surprising feelings for one another, both of these characters go through a lot of growth throughout their relationship.
Finn is left in a lurch when his nanny unexpectedly quits on him. Around the same time, Ash loses his job as a teacher due to cutbacks. Problem solved for both of them when Finn’s girlfriend, Violet, recommends her twin brother for the nanny job. Finn and Ash definitely get off on the wrong foot, but with few options and in desperate need for someone to take care of his son, Finn hires him to be Tucker’s nanny.
Finn is as rugged of a cowboy as they come, so it was a shock to him when he began feeling zings for Ash. A tentative friendship forms at first between them, and Finn doesn’t quite know what to do with the feelings he’s developing. Meanwhile, when sassy Ash picks up on Finn’s looks and lingers, he starts pushing buttons, eventually leading Finn to give in to his hang-ups.
Meanwhile, Ash and Violet have a rather complex sibling relationship, and his romance with Finn causes even more problems between them. His estrangement with Violet opens up old wounds for Ash, and leads to a lovely scene between him and Finn that I thought was a real turning point in their relationship and Finn’s unexpected commitment to Ash.
The audiobook is a dual narration by Alex Kydd (Ash) and Gregory Salinas (Finn), who did a great job of playing up the chemistry between the characters as well as the tender moments. Gregory really has the grumpy, broody cowboy thing down pat!
