Sunny Shelly’s Review: Fell For You by Renee Harless

 Release Date: November 7

Running my sister’s bed-and-breakfast in our small town should have been a piece of cake. Until I opened the door to our new guest and came face to face with the man I had a one-night stand with a year ago. And he was looking at me like I was a total stranger.

Nate Sullivan was fourteen years older than me and was my brother’s best friend. Not to mention a billionaire CEO that looked just as good in well-worn jeans and a T-shirt as he did in a suit. And when he was with his girls? There was no way I couldn’t fall for him.

We both had tarnished pasts that kept our hearts out of the mix. But being with him now gave me a confidence I didn’t know was missing.

It wasn’t until his twin daughters forced us to dance that we acted on our chemistry. And though it was explosive, our time together was limited. As the nights ticked away, we learned time wasn’t the only thing that worked against us.
**This is book 2 in the Sunny Brook Farms Series. Each one can be read as a complete standalone. Always an HEA!**

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 4 Stars

It’s been a few years since I’ve read a book by Renee Harless, and I’d forgotten how much I enjoyed her storytelling! Nate and Alexandra’s story was wonderful — charming, full of heart, emotional, and with the two most adorable little girls!

Before the book begins, Nate and Alexandra had a one-night stand, with neither of them knowing that he is her older brother’s best friend. (She was always away at dance camp when he visited during the summers, it is explained.) I loved that when Nate showed up at the B&B with his twin daughters in tow, he had no clue who Alex was and she immediately remembered him. It made his attraction to her all that more delicious, because there was something so familiar about Alex that he couldn’t put his finger on.

Both Alex and Nate have some past-relationship trauma, and neither one of them is looking for anything serious. But while he’s in town, they agree to have some fun. Naturally, feelings get involved, and their no-strings-fling quickly ties them together. But when Nate has to leave unexpectedly to handle a family matter, will it be the end of what could have been between them?

I loved the relationship between these two, and I adored how easily Alex slipped into the mother role for his twins. Their time apart was hard on all of them, but that made the reunion so much sweeter!

This book is a standalone in a series; I did not read Autum & Colton’s story, and had no issues keeping up with the family happenings. But now I definitely want to go back and read their book before the rest of the series comes out! I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

Meet Renee Harless

Renee Harless is a USA TODAY bestselling author with an affinity for wine and a passion for telling a good story.

Renee Harless, her husband, and children live in Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia. She studied Communication, specifically Public Relations, at Radford University.

Growing up, Renee always found a way to pursue her creativity. It began by watching endless runs of White Christmas – yes even in the summer – and learning every word and dance from the movie. She could still sing “Sister Sister” if requested. In high school she joined the show choir and a community theatre group, The Troubadours. After marrying the man of her dreams and moving from her hometown, she sought out a different artistic outlet – writing.
To say that Renee is a romance addict would be an understatement. When she isn’t chasing her kids around the house, working her day job, or writing, she jumps head first into a romance novel.
