Sunny Shelly’s Review: 3 Stars
I struggled to get through this book. I liked Roberto as a H but just couldn’t connect with Rylee as the h and as a result, I wasn’t that invested in their story. I liked the concept of the running competition that brought Roberto and Rylee back together after all these years, and the story was well-written — this is the first book I’ve read by Mel Walker, and I’ll definitely be checking out more of his books. This one just fell flat for me, unfortunately.
