Absolutely charming! This second chance Christmas romance will melt your heart!
While on her way to Vermont to spend Christmas with her family, London gets into an accident during a snowstorm. Her rescuer turns out to be Miles — the shy loner she was friends with as a teenager who kissed her at a high school graduation party and then completely disappeared. She’s never gotten over that kiss, and as it turns out, neither has Miles. That kiss got him through some incredibly lonely times, and he’s been in love with her for years.
After never expecting to see London’s lavender eyes ever again, Miles can’t believe he has her all to himself in his cabin. Back in high school, she was the popular rich girl, and he was the foster kid from the wrong side of the tracks. He never thought he was good enough for London back then, and even though he’s made something of himself as an adult, he still doesn’t think he’s deserving of her now.
