| An amazing start to a new series from Corinne Michaels! I was completely captivated by Ellie and Connor. The one night they spent together 8 years ago impacted them both in a major way, and gave them each a memory to hold on to even in their darkest moments.
A chance meeting gives the a second chance (once she puts her abusive marriage behind her), and a life that Connor never thought he could have. But when their pasta collide, will Ellie walk away for good or come back to him again? Connor and Ellie are both victims of domestic abuse (trigger warnings!) and their survival and recovery is handled wonderfully by CM. Their mutual experiences bond them in an amazing way, and is the base for a beautiful, lasting relationship. There is so much heart to this story, so much strength and bravery from both of them.
