Sunny Shelly’s Review: 4 Stars

There is something for everyone in this anthology of single-parent romances. Second chances, suspense, friends to lovers, enemies to lovers…. The whole lot!

In Fighting For Us by Heather Lynn, we get the adorable story of nurse Emerson, who takes care of sweet little Lily one day and ends up falling in love with the tyke’s hunky tattoo artist dad, Levi. All is hunky-dory in their lives, until Lily is nearly kidnapped and a few weeks later, Emmy is taken from their home. Who from Levi’s past is out to destroy his future? Will Emmy make it back to him in one piece, or are their dreams forever shattered? This was a page-turner!

Gianna Gabriela’s story, Just Because Of You, is setting up a future duet in her catalog, and I totally got hooked into the cliffhanger ending between single dad Christian and his high school love, who is back in town after six years away. Will she ever find out why he broke her heart? Will their proximity as high school football coach and elementary school principal cause issues in them rekindling their romance? I need to know!

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.
