I have been waiting for Indie’s story ever since I finished Let There Be Light. And what a great coming of age story Seven Shades Of You is!

Indie is Royal’s twin, from LTBL, and Kai is his best friend. Both of them are broken souls, rudderless until they find one another. Kai’s world is crumbling, and he doesn’t realize how low he’s feeling until he gets some stolen moments with Indie. She, meanwhile, struggles with her mental health, and Kai has a calming presence on her that she’s never felt before.

There are some bumps in the road for them, but Kai and Indie share a lovely, sweet romance. They compete one another in marvelous ways, and AM does a great job of handling the mental health issue with care and dignity.

Go and read Royal and Camden’s story, Let There Be Light. The two books are standalones, but the characters are connected and both are beautiful coming of age romances.
