Sunny Shelly’s Review : 4 Stars

Another quirky, funny installment in the Chick Flick series! This story follows food truck chef Zoey, and her rival, Cameron, who starts encroaching on her turf as the local brunch truck. But there’s another layer to the enemies-to-lovers relationship between the two because, unbeknownst to one another, they are chat room friends crushing on one another.

The pranks between Cam and Zoey as they try to one up each other (and ruin the other’s business) do get a bit out of control and childish, but that’s part of the fun of this story…. and ultimately, what leads to The Conflict.

The characters have great chemistry, and once they realize that they don’t hate one another as much as they think they do, their relationship is very tender and sweet. We also get to catch up with Gemma and Zach, and get to know Eve a bit more, who will be the focus of the next book.

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.
