Sunny Shelly’s Review: 5 Stars
Let There Be Light was one of the most beautiful, sweetest romances I’ve read in I can’t remember how long! The slow burn between Royal and Camden was magnificent. I really understood every emotion Royal was going through in realizing that he had feelings for Camden, and the difficulties that Camden has experienced because of his parents, and how that’s led to his incredible insecurites, just jumped off the page. I got everything about these two!
The moments between Camden and Royal are so sweet and tender. Their relationship truly begins as a friendship neither of them expected, and turns into something more. A.M. Johnson did a fantastic job, all around!
Apparently, Royal and his twin, Indigo, are the children of Paige and Declan fromPossession. I’ve never read AM’s Avenues Ink series, so this felt like a true standalone for me. But there are appearances by Royal’s parents and uncles in this story, so I could see where that would be something fun for fans of that series to catch up with the characters! I can’t wait to see what’s in store for Indie and Kai in the second part of this duet! I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.
