Genre: Contemporary Romance
In life, you always learn one important lesson you’ll never forget.
For me, it was to never have hopes and dreams. They could shatter into a million pieces in a matter of seconds.
I’d lived by that one rule my entire life, until the day Harper and her little boy moved in next door. One look into her guarded eyes and a flame of hope was lit. Little did I know; her green eyes held more pain than my heart did.
Breaking through the fortified walls she’d erected around hers would cause me more agony than I’d ever imagined possible.
I didn’t know if two broken and bruised individuals could come together and create something beautiful out of nothing but shattered pieces.
But I needed to find out.
Sunny Shelly’s Review: 4 Stars
Shattered is the first book I’ve read by this author — Somewhat predictable, but highly enjoyable romance about two incredibly broken people who help one another heal.
Logan is a perfect Southern gentleman, decorated in colorful tattoos. He was so sweet with not Harper and her son Flynn! Harper is a lot stronger than she gives herself credit for, having escaped an abusive marriage for the sake of her son.
I thought the domestic abuse was handled delicately, and I loved that Harper got herself out of that situation and found her HEA with Logan. Their romance starts off slow, but evolves into something magnificent.
With three single brothers in the family, I’m guessing that Shattered is a series starter; I really didn’t like Eli, and I hope that there’s a book telling his story coming out! I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

About the Author
Author of Romances filled with heart and heat – She wants to leave you with ALL the feels!
She likes her coffee big and strong and her chocolate sinfully dark.
She lives in a small town in South Africa, surrounded by bush and mountains. When she’s not writing, she is probably nose-deep in a book or busy being a wife and mommy to one sassy little girl. (She wouldn’t want her any other way.)
