Ice is the story of single dad Hudson West, the brother of Ashes’ Greyson. Hudson was ruined when his wife left him, and has encased his heart in ice in the years since. His sexy new neighbor, Millie, is recently divorced, and she’s not looking to jump back into a relationship after being betrayed by her husband. But thanks to a precocious 5 year old, a few dogs and a meddling sisters, these two divorcees soon find their ice-cold hearts beginning to melt.
I loved how Hudson’s feelings for Millie snuck up on him and it was Wylie who actually pointed it out! I was a bit mad at Millie for the way she handled things during The Conflict, and I wish we could have gotten Hudson’s POV when he realized he was an asshat after their fight. But it all leads to a wonderful grand gesture, and a beautiful HEA for the couple. Plus, we get some updates on Grey and Marnie!
Pearson’s story is next, and the epilogue has me very intrigued!! I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.
