Review: Indiscretion, by Lane Hart

IndiscretionBlurb:

I don’t care what anyone says, loving Sam wasn’t a mistake.

The only mistake I ever made was letting the wrong person see the two of us together. Her best friend knew the only chance he had with Sam was to get rid of me. That’s why the bastard had me arrested.

I rotted away for ten agonizing months in prison while that jackass tried to take my place.

Sam may think that she’s moved on with her life. That’s exactly what I wanted her to do, until I found out his plan worked. The two of them have been living together, playing house while I struggled to survive.

What the prick doesn’t realize is that she’s mine and there’s nothing he can do to keep us apart.

I’m coming for her, and I would love to see him try and stop me.

Sunny Shelly’s Review:

Indiscretion is a hot, forbidden romance between 19 year old high school senior Samantha and 29 year old physical therapist Dr. Grant Matthews. They first meet when track runner Sam seeks medical assistance after injuring her ankle, and the sexual connection between them is immediate. When Grant assumes Sam is in college and asks her out, Sam doesn’t correct him…. and thus begins the sexy romance between the two.

What makes the relationship forbidden is when Grant ends up getting a job as the school’s sports PT — and Sam’s lie of omission is exposed. They briefly split up, but can’t stay away from one another… much to the dismay of Sam’s best friend, Hunter, who has long been in love with her. And then Sam and Grant are split up again when he is arrested for sexual relations with a student. One indiscretion changes both of their lives.

As the story goes back and forth between the present day and the year before, all of the shocking details unfold as to what led to Grant’s arrest. And it’s a doozy. But when Grant is released from prison, will he be able to win back the love of his life? How will Sam handle learning Hunter’s role in the worst night of her life? It’s all resolved in a tidy bow with a HEA that brought a tear to my eye.
