I have been waiting for Cameron’s story in the Darkest Days series, and it was worth the wait! You could just tell that manwhore Cam had a lot going on underneath the party boy facade, and just how misunderstood he is (and why) comes to light in Hard Rock Sin. It’s absolutely perfect that it is crankypants Noah’s little sister, Lily, that is the woman who games Cameron!
Lily arrives back in L.A., and needs a place to live before moving into the dorms at her new college. Cameron lives in a megamansion and it’s decided for her that Lily will be Cam’s roommate. If only Noah knew that his pal has been flirting with his sister! And Lily’s had a crush on Cam for years. Although they try to stay away from each other, the sexual tension is sizzling. Little by little, Lily starts seeing the real Cameron — the sweet, thoughtful guy who is covering up a life of lonely by trying to be the life of the party.
As much as Cam tries to get Lily off his mind for fear of Noah maiming him, the electricity between the two is just too great. When they finally come together, it’s as sweet and tender as it is hot and sexy. But will they be able to convince Noah that they are genuinely in love?
Hard Rock Sin was delicious. You can’t judge a book by its cover, and sometimes fantasies really do come true!
