Sunny Shelly’s Review: Perky, by Julia Kent

AN ALL-NEW STANDALONE FROM NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLING AUTHOR JULIA KENT
One hundred years ago when I was young and impulsive (okay, it was five,
alright? Five years ago…) I let my boyfriend take, let’s just say…
compromising pictures of me.
(Shut up. It made sense at the time).
Surprise! The sleazy back-stabbing jerk posted them on a website and,
well, you can guess what happened. That’s right.
I’m a meme. A really gross one.
You’ve seen the pictures. And if you haven’t – don’t ask. And don’t look!
As face recognition software online improves, I get tagged on social
media whenever anyone shares my pictures. You try getting a thousand
notifications a day, all of them pictures of your tatas.
So. I’m done.
It’s time for revenge. Let him see how it feels! But how do you get
embarrassingly intimate pictures of your jerkface ex who double-crossed you
five years ago?
Especially when he’s a member of the U.S.House of Representatives now?
Getting sweet between the sheets with a congressman is pretty much every
political roadie’s dream, right? I’m one in a crowd.
Except to this day, he swears he didn’t do it. Pursued me for months
after I dumped him five years ago. Begged me to take him back.
And I almost did it. Almost. I was weak and stupid and in love a hundred
years ago.
Okay. Fine. Five.
But I still have the upper hand. Second chance romance has all the
emotional feels, doesn’t it?
I can’t wait to punch him in the feels.
All I need to do is sleep with him once, take some hot-and-sweaty pics of
him in… delicate positions, and bring him down. That’s it. Nothing more.
Pictures first. Revenge after. And then I win.
At least, that’s how it was supposed to happen. But then I did something
worse than sexting.
I fell in love with him. Again.

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 4 Stars

A second-chance romance about revenge sex? Brilliant! I was looking forward to Perky and Parker’s story after getting that tease at the end of Fluffy, and it did not disappoint!

It’s been five years since Perky’s ex posted a sexy pic of her that was never meant to see the light of day. It broke her heart, left her humiliated and betrayed and she’s never gotten past it. So imagine her surprise when one of the groomsmen in her pal Mallory’s wedding, Skip, turns out to be her ex-boyfriend!

Parker is insistent that he was not responsible. While Perky goes back and forth with whether or not to believe him, she ultimately decides that a revenge sex video is just the thing to help her feel better. But when she realizes that she’s still in love with Parker, will Perky call off her plan before it’s too late?

The culprit behind the video was predictable, but nevertheless it was a helluva funny ride. Parker never gave up when it came to getting Persophene to believe him, and there’s a lovely payoff for this couple. And…. The antics amongst this trio of friends is hysterical. I loved seeing more of Mallory and Will and hope that Fiona’s book is just as good…. but I’m sure it will be!

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

Sunny Shelly’s Review: Falter, by Carrie Aarons

falterad2.jpg

FALTER (Nash Brothers, Book 4)

Ryan Shea has sworn off men.

After her last relationship imploded in front of her eyes, she decides to take a break from swimming in the dating pool … possibly forever. The brilliant computer whiz loses her brain when it comes to love, and jumping feet first burns her every time.

Without a home, or much of a clue where life is headed, taking a trip back to the small town of Fawn Hill to stay with her best friend seems like the only option.

Except it puts Ryan directly in the path of the one man she can’t fall for. Fletcher Nash reminds her too much of the dark past she’s always run from; his demons are the things of her nightmares. And it’s no help that, when he looks at her, she feels as if Fletcher is the one person who truly understands.

Fletcher Nash vowed not to fall in lust.

Five years of sobriety, and he hasn’t broken the chastity promise yet. Not that it had to keep for this long … he’s well over the normal year addicts are told not to get involved.

But, aside from a busy schedule and trying to chase his dream of becoming a full-time artist, he has no intentions of committing to a woman until she is the one.

Why is it, then, that sassy, city girl Ryan Shea comes dangerously close to resembling the exact woman he could break that promise for? Like sand through his fingers, there is no way she’ll stay put … but his heart just won’t listen.

They pledged not to love anyone until it was the real thing.
So what happens when two people terrified of falling head-over-heels, actually do?

Falter is available for a special release day price of $2.99! The book will increase to $3.99 the day after release.

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 5 Stars

I really don’t want to write this review, because then that means that The Nash Brothers Series is done. And I don’t want it to be done!

In Falter, we finally get youngest brother Fletcher’s story. It’s set a few years after Fleeting, so at the same time that we get Fletcher and Ryan’s romance, there are updates on Keaton/Presley, Bowen/Lily and Forrest/Penelope.

falterteaser5
Each brother in this series had their own demons to battle. As a recovering alcoholic, Fletcher’s story is a bit more intense than the others have been. I loved how perfectly matched he and Ryan are — two sides of the same coin. She grew up in the foster system after being abandoned by her addict mother, and those scars ran deep for her. She’s never really trusted anyone as a result, and bounced from relationship to relationship looking for someone to love her unconditionally. Fletcher is five years sober, and with no recollection of his sexual history while he was drinking, he’s taken being celibate to a whole new level as he struggles every day to not drink. But there is an intense connection between the two of them, and eventually, the girl who’s sworn off men and the guy who’s sworn off women find themselves unable to stay away from the other.

falterteaser4.jpg
Carrie Aarons does a great job of working their mutual demons into this story, and how each of their struggles and backgrounds affects their current relationship. Will Ryan always be second-guessing Fletcher? Will Fletch ever find someone who can accept him for who he is and how he must now live his life? It’s a wonderful exploration, complete with a breakup that neither of them really wants an an awesome grand gesture on Fletcher’s part to win Ryan back.

I loved that the epilogue was set years in the future, so that there’s not just a HEA for Fletcher and Ryan, but we get a glimpse at how the rest of the Nash brothers are doing too. I’ve adored this series. Each book is a standalone, but these brothers and the girlfriends they are married to are pretty freaking awesome, so you should just read them all!

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

Sunny Shelly’s Review: Piece Of My Heart, by Nicole Jacquelyn

67619117_10157379992307298_1764195238882050048_n.jpg
From the author of Unbreak My Heart comes a heart-wrenching story about a young married couple’s struggle to find their way back to each other after an unbearable loss threatens to tear them apart. Nicole Jacquelyn delivers a novel that will break your heart…in all the best ways.
Alex Evans is cool. Collected. Charismatic as hell. But when he meets Sarai Levy, all that chill goes right out the door. An Israeli graduate student, Sarai’s far too busy with school to date. But she gives Alex a chance anyway, and after a few whirlwind months, they’re getting married. They’ve heard all the reasons why it’s too soon, but Alex and Sarai are madly in love and determined to make it work . . . until a devastating tragedy strikes and their perfect world comes crashing down.
Sarai, who always has a plan, suddenly has no blueprint for handling a staggering loss. As she pulls away from Alex and withdraws from her life, he’s struggling to be the man she needs. Their relationship is fraying at the seams, and if Alex and Sarai don’t find a way to trust each other with their most painful truths, their heartache could shatter their fairytale romance.

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 4 Stars

Piece Of My Heart is a drama-filled romance that will make you cry, but make you smile at the end. It’s love at first sight for Alex, but Sarai makes him work for it, and things don’t come easy for them.

They love each other immensely, but the relationship puts Sarai at odds with her aunt and uncle (who raised her) since Alex is not Jewish. A tragic event puts another wedge in their relationship as regret, blame and depression takes hold. Ultimately, Alex and Sarai are able to work their way back to one another, but it’s a long and winding road.

Unbreak My Heart (Fostering Live #1) is one of my favorite books, a story that I reread often. I haven’t read the others in this series yet, but the bar was set pretty high for Alex and Sarai. While I didn’t absolutely love it the way that I did Unbreak, it is still a fantastic story with rich characters, real-life situations and the hard work it takes to make a marriage work. And I loved getting to catch up with the other family members.

I received an advanced copy via Netgalley and the publisher and voluntarily left a review.

Sunny Shelly’s Review: It’s Not Over, by Kaylee Ryan & Lacey Black

Title: It’s Not Over
Authors: Kaylee Ryan & Lacey Black
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: July 23, 2019

Blurb
GwenLately, life definitely isn’t how I envisioned it. I had it all. The house, the
job, the husband. Until one day, I didn’t. I don’t know when exactly things
started to change between us, only that it did, and in a big way. So much so, I
found myself standing before a judge and signing off on the end of my marriage.
To the only man, I’ve ever loved.

Now, he’s back, fighting, and ready to prove to me that we made a mistake, that
our love is worth giving this another chance. I’m not sure if he’s right, but I
know what my heart wants, and it wants him. My ex-husband.
Harrison

Why is it that you don’t know the depths of your mistakes until you’ve already
made them? I knew signing those papers was a bad idea, but I thought that’s
what she wanted. The minute we stepped foot out of that courtroom, it hit me.
She’s no longer mine.

That’s when I also realized, that I would do anything to change the past. I
have so many regrets. Not her. I could never regret her, but how we ended. We
never should have ended. I’m in for the battle of my life to convince her to
give us another shot. I have a plan, one that will prove to her that, it’s not
over.

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 5 Stars

It’s Not Over is a wonderful second-chance romance featuring a divorced couple. Harrison and Gwen’s marriage ended not because they stopped loving each other or because one of them cheated, but because they stopped communicating and making each other a priority.

Divorce was the last thing that Harrison wanted, but he’s do anything for Winnie… even granting her the divorce he doesn’t want. The feelings still run deep between them, and they commemorate the end of their marriage by sleeping together.

After the fact, Harrison vows to win his wife back. When he finds out that Winnie was in a car accident — and she’s pregnant — he has even more reason to put his wife and child above all else in his life.

There is a nice arc as they date again, learn to put one another first again. Harrison is absolutely devoted to Winnie and the baby, and it’s so sweet. There is a bit of drama at the hands of a flirty coworker, and a smidge of mystery. I really love the love/hate between her sister Gaby and his best friend Chase, and hope that there is a story coming for them!!

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 5 Stars

This novella is a perfect hold-over in the Bailey Siblings series until the next full-length book is released.

It’s set in the days leading up to Austin and Holly’s wedding, but I love the multiple POVs we get with the different characters. The story is short and sweet — I read it in a single sitting — but it’s full of all the heart and humor and zany antics that I’ve come to love from Piper Rayne’s Bailey siblings!

“I LOVED both Cosy and Griffin! This story was ABSOLUTE PERFECTION!”- Kendall Ryan, New York Times bestselling author

Making Up an all-new laugh-out-loud romantic comedy from New York Times bestselling author Helena Hunting is available now!

Making Up_ebook

Cosy Felton is great at her job—she knows just how to handle the awkwardness that comes with working at an adult toy store. So when the hottest guy she’s ever seen walks into the shop looking completely overwhelmed, she’s more than happy to turn on the charm and help him purchase all of the items on his list.

Griffin Mills is using his business trip in Las Vegas as a chance to escape the broken pieces of his life in New York City. The last thing he wants is to be put in charge of buying gag gifts for his friend’s bachelor party. Despite being totally out of his element, and mortified by the whole experience, Griffin is pleasantly surprised when he finds himself attracted to the sales girl that helped him.

As skeptical as Cosy may be of Griffin’s motivations, there’s something about him that intrigues her. But sometimes what happens in Vegas doesn’t always stay in Vegas and when real life gets in the way, all bets are off. Filled with hilariously awkward situations and enough sexual chemistry to power Sin City, Making Up is the next standalone in the Shacking Up world.

MAKING UP TEASER NINE AN.jpg

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 4Stars

Try to not adore Griffin and Cosy when you read Making Up! They are so cute together and their meet-cute in the sex toy shop where Cosy works is hysterical!

Griffin is all kinds of awkward around Cosy, which is not at all how I expected him to be considering who he is: heir to the Mills Hotel dynasty. If you’ve read some of the previous books in this series, we have met him before. But Making Up reads as a true standalone, and his story with Cosy is self-contained. Cosy, meanwhile, is a great combination of sweetness and sass. Together, they are absolute magic and I connected immediately with them as a couple, rooting for the college student and wealthy hotel exec to make things work.

The 11-year age difference between them does come into play a few times through the course of their relationship, and it’s interesting to see that Cosy is the one who makes the more mature deisions. Especially when there is some OW drama that occurs, thanks to Griffin’s ex-fiancee, Imogen. (Oh my goodness, what a bee that woman is!)

We get some appearances from Bane and Lex, the other Milles brothers from some previous Shacking Up books, and spend some time with cousin Lincoln. (I can’t wait for his story!) Overall, Making Up is an an absolute delight! I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

Excerpt:

We’re a couple of minutes away from my apartment, which also means we’re almost at the end of our date. End-of-date protocol often means a goodnight kiss.

And I’ve eaten onions. Lots of them. What the hell was I thinking? I feel around in my shorts pocket, hoping I have a random stick of gum. I find a tiny square packet and pull it out, along with an old tissue. I shove that back in my pocket and sigh with relief as I carefully open the Listerine Pocketpak. There’s one strip left. I pop it in my mouth, wishing I had water since my mouth is dry and I’m suddenly super nervous.

Griffin pulls up in front of my apartment building. I swallow a bunch of times, trying to get the strip to dissolve on my tongue and glance out the tinted window, seeing it from his perspective. I don’t live in a bad part of town, but I sure as hell wouldn’t leave this car sitting out here for any length of time unless I wanted it keyed or stripped down.

Griffin shifts into park and turns to me, one hand resting on the back of my seat near the headrest. “I had a great time, Cosy.”

“Me too, thanks for dinner.” I tried to fork over my share, but he was quick on the credit card draw.

“It was my pleasure.” He leans in the tiniest bit, a nonverbal cue that he’s going in for a kiss.

I mirror the movement, giving him the go ahead. My stomach flutters in anticipation. I exhale slowly through my nose. Even though the Listerine strip should be doing its job to mask the onions, I don’t want to ruin the moment by breathing that in his face.

His fingertips skim my jaw, and I close my eyes. And then his lips brush my cheek. I wait for them to move a couple of inches to the right, but after what feels like a lot of seconds—and is probably only a few—I crack a lid.

Griffin is still close, a wry smile on his lips and a smolder in his eyes.

“Seriously, that’s it? A kiss on the cheek?”

His smile widens, making his eyes crinkle at the corners. He’s nothing like the guys I usually end up on dates with. College boys don’t take things slow. If I were out with one of the guys from school, I’d be sitting in a beat-up Civic with some stupid music playing, and he’d be all over me with his tongue halfway down my throat, copping a feel.

“I thought all the onions you ate were the equivalent to garlic for vampires.” Griffin fingers my hair near my shoulder. I’d really like him to finger something else. Wait. I mean I’d like to feel his hands on me. Not in my pants. Okay, maybe I’d like them in my pants, but not after date number one.

“I wasn’t thinking, and I really like onions. A lot. In hindsight, it’s not a great date food. I feel kinda dumb. And I guess at first I wasn’t so sure about you. How was I supposed to know you’d actually be kind of normalish?”

“Normalish?”

“Well, you drink club soda on purpose, so you can’t be all there.” I tap his temple.

Griffin circles my wrist with his fingers and drops his head, lips brushing over my knuckle. “We can’t all be perfect, now, can we?”

“I suppose not, and perfect is boring.”

“That it is.” He hums against my skin, and I feel it through my entire body. “I would like to try that kiss again, if you’re still interested.”

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 4 Stars
Thirty-five and Single was a delightful surprise. I didn’t know what to expect from Joel, but he turned out to be so much more than a hot, tattoo’d younger guy living down the hall from Olivia. There is more to him than meets the eye, and he ended up being mature beyond his years.

I really enjoyed this story and easily read it in a day. But there were so many other subplots going on, it kind of gave me whiplash. I don’t know if TEL is setting the stage for other stories, but between all of Liv’s sisters and Joel’s two brothers, plus Liv’s ex-husband who is the cousin of her brother-in-law, there were so many other characters competing for my attention. Some of the essence between Olivia and Joel got lost in the shuffle, I felt. I would have liked to have seen the drama and baggage between Olivia and her ex, Corey, hammered out more.

Still, this was a heartfelt story about a woman in her thirties picking up the pieces after her marriage implodes with the last man she ever expected to find her HEA with. I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

Sunny Shelly’s Review: Whatever Happens, by Micalea Smeltzer

Title: Whatever Happens
Author: Micalea Smeltzer
Genre: Young Adult Romance

Release Date: July 19, 2019

Blurb

Violet Page is having a rough time. This former popular girl
is lost. Her parents uproot everything after her younger sister’s suicide,
moving states away to escape the lingering pain of loss. She doesn’t fit in
anywhere, but finds herself strangely drawn to the boy she watches view the
world through a telescope.
Finnley Crawford isn’t your typical boy next door. Being
autistic has always set him apart from kids his age. None of them quite knows
how to approach him or interact, leaving him only one friend in the form of his
support dog. His lack of friendships lead him to a unique love of space and
aspirations of one day reaching the stars. For in the stars, he sees a peace
and beauty he can’t find on Earth.
The more time these two seemingly opposite teenagers spend
together, the more they learn it isn’t what’s on the outside that counts. So much
can be found on the inside if you only care to look.
Sunny Shelly’s Review: 5 Stars
Whatever Happens is an absolutely superb, heartbreaking, powerful, emotional, magnificent story! I’m generally not a fan of the high school stories when it comes to YA fiction, but something about this blurb drew me in. I’ve never read anything my Micalea Smeltzer before, but Finn and Violet’s story absolutely blew me away!

Violet is struggling to find a new normal in the wake of her younger autistic sister’s suicide when her family relocates from Texas to Maine. The bullying that led to her sister’s death has Violet rethinking everything about her old life and how self-absorbed she was as a popular cheerleader. Now a self-imposed loner, Violet strikes up a tentative friendship with Finn, the boy next door.

Finn leads a life of solitude. Labeled by his classmates as weird and strange, he keeps to himself with just his service dog and the stars as company. Little by little, Violet works her way into his life, and the autistic teenager opens himself up to having a friend. Where nobody else ever gave Finn a second thought, Violet sees him for who he is on the inside: a magnificent, wonderful, funny and sweet human being.

It’s not long before they fall in love, but insecurities on both their parts leads to a heartbreaking break up. Finn’s fear of never being enough, and Violet’s anger toward both Finn and her sister over not being worth sticking around for keep these teenagers apart while at the same time they are thrust together as the leads in the school’s production of Beauty & The Beast. So fitting.

Despite their differences, Violet and Finn balance each other out wonderfully. She sees who he is deep down into his soul, and she gives him a strength to be brave in a way he never imagined would be possible. This story may be a clean, sweet romance, but it is so emotionally deep.

I am so glad that I took a chance on this book, because it was positively fantastic. I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 3 Stars
I have mixed feelings about Carpool. It’s supposed to be a bad boy/good girl novella, but I didn’t think that Marcus was all that bad of a guy. And for a “good girl,” Jennifer sure was a Judgey McJudgerson.

Poor Marcus has a rep around town as a bad boy rebel, probably because he’s a brooding dark kind of guy. I found him to be rather sweet and quite a gentleman. Jennifer, on the other hand, was brash, quick to judge and take the townsfolks’ opinions as gospel when it came to him. As they carpool to work together while her car is in the shop, a nice friendship forms between the two of them that eventually leads to them both falling in love.

Second Best by Noelle Adams is a book I’ve re-read over and over again. I honestly questioned whether Carpool was written by the same author. The prose is clunky and full of extraneous actions that sometimes seemed like they were written in just to meet a word count.

Overall, the guts to this story were good, and there was a nice arc to the enemies-to-lovers aspect of Marcus and Jennifer’s relationship. I would have liked to have seen some chapters from his POV to get inside his head.

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

Excerpt

I nod and
open the passenger door, reaching down to grab the strap of my purse.
I blink
when he gets out too.
“What are
you doing?” I ask, my voice sharp because I’m confused.
“I’m
walking you to the door. Do you have a problem with that?”
“But why?”
“Why not?”
I don’t
have an answer to the question. And since he didn’t give me an answer, I feel
like I don’t have to give one to him either.
But I’m
shuddering with something like excitement as we reach the front stoop of my
grandmother’s house. I stop and stare up at him.
He’s gazing
down at me with that same deep, warm expression I saw in him earlier.
Right
before he kissed me.
“Why are
you doing this, Marcus?” My voice breaks slightly because I’m pulsing with
everything I’m feeling.
“I’m just
standing at your door.”
“You know
what I’m talking about.”
He nods,
his mouth relaxing slightly. “I’m doing it because I want to kiss you again,
and I think you want that too.”
I lick my
lips. He sees it. His expression heats up.
It thrills
me so much I quickly get my tongue back into my mouth and swallow hard. “I
don’t know, Marcus. I don’t usually do things… just for fun.”
“I know you
don’t. But I keep telling you that you’re allowed. Kissing me would be fun for
you. And for me. It doesn’t have to mean anything more. It doesn’t have to
change anything important about your world. So why shouldn’t we do it again?”
“Because…
because I think it would… If we do it again, we’re going to do more than kiss.”
He chuckles
softly and reaches up to brush some hair back from my face. “Yes. We probably
will.”
“And you
think that can be just for fun? No… no… pressure or complications?” I can’t
believe I’m even considering no-strings-attached sex, but that’s exactly what
I’m doing.
That’s what
Marcus is offering.
And I want
it so much.
“Yes. I
think so. If that’s what you want.”
“That’s all
it could be between us. For obvious reasons.”
He gives a
slight nod. “Yes.”
This
confirms a tiny, lingering question I’d never even acknowledged. And it makes
things so much safer.
Safe enough
for me to let myself be tempted for real.
After all,
sex with Marcus is going to be good. I know it for sure. And if I can enjoy
it—have some fun—in a way that both of us agree will lead to nothing disruptive
to my life, why the hell shouldn’t I?
Why can’t I
be like everyone else and just let go now and then?
It doesn’t
have to threaten the security of my world.
I really
think I could let go with Marcus and still be safe.
He confirms
this by saying in a more serious tone, “I’m here for anything you want,
Jennifer. Anything. Just name it. But if it’s not what you want, all you
have to do is tell me, and I’ll never make a move on you again.”
I gulp. “I…
do want it.”
“Yeah?” He
tilts his head down.
“Yeah.”
“So you
want to try to have a little fun and see what happens?”
Somehow
I’ve made up my mind. I’ve decided. Everything inside me wants to do this, so
I’m going to do it after all. “Yeah. That’s what I want.”
His eyes smolder
in a way that makes my heart clench.
And other
parts of me clench as well.
“So I can
kiss you again?”
I nod.
“Please do.”

Sunny Shelly’s Review: The Wrong Prince Charming, by Holly Renee

Release Date: July 15, 2019

Cover Design: Artist Regina Wamba

Photography: Perrywinkle Photography

Synopsis

Every little girl dreams of being swept off her feet by a charming Prince.

But my life was no fairy tale.

And in this kingdom called college, the rules went out the window.

I’d known golden boy, Theo Hunt, was the one for me since we were kids. My heart was his for the taking, but I had become nothing more than the MVP of the campus king’s friend-zone.

Easton Cole was a storm I couldn’t have predicted. He knocked me off my feet and stole my heart. But he was off limits. Not only was he was Theo’s frat brother, but he was the teacher’s assistant in English 101 and I was acing every test.

My heart was torn, my feelings tangled.

Because as soon as I noticed Easton, Theo finally noticed me.

I was in love with two guys, as different as night and day, but I could only have one.

I only hoped I didn’t choose The Wrong Prince Charming.

Goodreads

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 4 Stars

This was a entertaining YA novel. For a while, I honestly didn’t know whether I should be rooting for Theo (the best friend whom Maddie has been in love with for years) or hot TA Easton.

Maddie follows her childhood best friend Theo to college because it’s what has forever been expected of her. She wanted to go to Columbia and major in photojournalism, but she has never told anyone that. She has literally an awkward run-in with one of Theo’s frat brothers before the semester begins, and of course, Easton turns out to be the TA in her English class. They shouldn’t be together bc if his position, but Easton and Maddie can’t stay away from one another.

Naturally… It takes Easton showing an interest in Maddie before Theo makes a move. One of the guys turns out to be a mega jerk, but it prompts Maddie to take control over her future and do what she wants for once in her life.

I really liked Maddie. She showed a lot of growth over the course of the story, and learned how to stand up for herself. Not just with her parents (gawd, her mom was awful), but with Theo and Easton as well.

The story ends on a charming HFN (they are still in college!) with the promise of a HEA for Maddie and her Prince Charming.
