New Release: Flip Trick, by Amo Jones

Flip Trick, an all-new standalone bad-boy romance by Amo Jones is NOW AVAILABLE!!

I did something I had never done before.

I had a one-night stand.

Then in true me fashion, I left my phone at his house during my desperate venture to escape.

I tried hard to ignore the texts sent to my best friend’s phone…

Amethyst: Sup, these selfies are cute as shit, but your lips looked better wrapped around my…

I did NOT text him back.

I DID vow to never speak of him, or that night again…

I’m Amethyst Lily Tatum, and up until this point, I’d managed to maintain a fairly low-key life. I’m what you would call a socially unacceptable hot mess. Instead of partying, I’m skating, flipping ollie’s over guys who loved to underestimate me. Then I started college, met a wild girl who I would soon call my best-friend, had my first drunk one-night stand, left my phone at his house, and then, when I finally managed to meet my mom’s new boyfriend, I found out that my one-night stand, was now my new stepbrother.

*this is a standalone novel*

Excerpt Reveal: Handle With Care, by Nina Croft

HWC_EXCERPT REVEAL

“Heat, heart and plenty of happy sighs.”— Avery Flynn, USA Today bestselling author

Handle with Care, an all-new romantic standalone from Nina Croft is coming July 30th!

2018-0682 Nina Croft b01.jpg

Synopsis

What if all you want is the one thing you can’t have?

First grade teacher Emily Towson always does the right thing. The sensible thing. But in her dreams, she does bad, bad things with the town’s baddest boy: Tanner O’Connor. But when he sells her grandmother a Harley, fantasy is about to meet a dose of reality.

And then he goes and calls her “sensible”…

Tanner can’t believe sweet Emily is standing in his shop. Yelling and waving her hands and looking so god damn sexy he’s having trouble focusing. He’d spent two hard years in prison, with only the thought of this “good girl” to keep him sane.

He really should send her away…

Before either one thinks though, they’re naked and making memories on his tool bench with apparently the oldest condom in history. Now Tanner’s managed to knock-up the town’s “good girl” and she’s going to lose her job over some stupid “morality clause” if he doesn’t step up.

But can this bad boy teach his good girl they’re perfect for each other in time?

Excerpt:

“Tanner.”

Just the way she said his name, sort of breathless, made him hard. He nodded.“Emily.”

“What are you doing here?” Her eyes narrowed.“Did you follow me?”

“You looked a little upset. I was just making sure no one else followed you.”

“You mean Ryan? He’s being a total pain in the…”

“Ass?”

“Yes.” She pressed her finger to the spot between her brows.“I don’t know what’s wrong with me. I’m usually so…” She took a couple of deep breaths.“He was making me so angry.”

“I thought he was your boyfriend?”

“Not anymore. It’s over between me and Ryan. It was over before that night you and I…”

He decided to help her out.“Had hot, dirty sex on top of the workbench in my garage. Then up against the wall in my garage.”

She gritted her teeth but gave a quick nod.

“Why was it over with Mr. Perfect? Did he finish with you?” Maybe she’d needed some sort of affirmation of herself as a sexy woman. He wanted to beat Ryan for that, though he had ultimately benefited from it.

“None of your business.”

“Come on, Em. I’m curious.”

Her face took on a mutinous expression, lips pursed.“He said I was sensible and then he asked me to marry him.”

Tanner managed to choke back the laugh, but she must have seen it on his face.

“It’s not funny.”

He’d proposed? That made Tanner want to growl. But she had a point. It sounded as though Ryan had fucked up on the proposal. Tanner certainly wasn’t sorry. Ryan’s loss, his gain.“Let me get this straight. If he hadn’t called you sensible, you would have said yes?”

“Probably not. He told me he’d decided it was time to settle down, and I was a nice, sensible woman, and would make him a suitable wife. Or something like that. I sort of stopped listening at ‘sensible.’What sort of man starts a proposal by saying you’re sensible?”

“An asshole?”

“Yes. Exactly. I said I didn’t think we were suited and walked out. Then when I got home, Mimi told me she’d bought a bike from you, and then she more than hinted that I was sensible, too. So when you said it as well, I just…sort of blew.”

“Actually, you kissed me, then you stripped, then you threw yourself at me. I didn’t stand a chance.” He had an image of her standing naked in front of him, challenging him to do something, and almost groaned.

“I did not throw myself at you.”

He just stood there, one eyebrow raised.

She folded her arms across her chest.“Anyway.I thought you were pretending that never happened?”

“Believe me, I’m trying. But I keep getting these little flashbacks at the most inappropriate times. Like when I’m picking up a tool from my work bench and there you are, all soft and naked and panting for me.”

Why did he do this to himself? His dick was almost painfully hard.

She was staring at him wide-eyed, her pink lips slightly parted. She didn’t move. He cast a quick look around the street—it was empty—then he closed the space between them, lowered his head, and kissed her before she could even have an idea of his intentions. He half expected her to pull back and run away, but her lips softened, then parted under his, and he slipped his tongue inside, sliding it along the length of hers. He kissed her until they both ran out of air. He hadn’t thought kissing was such a big deal, but he could kiss Emily all night.

About Nina:

Growing up in the cold, wet, north of England, Nina Croft spent a lot of time huddled under the blankets dreaming of faraway sunnier places and ponies. When she discovered both could be found between the covers of a book, her life changed forever.

At the age of eighteen, in an attempt to turn dreams into reality, she headed south in search of the sun. She quickly picked up the perfect husband along the way, and developed a taste for red wine and holidays in warm places.

Soon holidays weren’t enough, and together they volunteered to work in Africa where they both discovered a love of traveling and a dislike of 9-5 work. Afterward they spent a number of years travelling (whenever possible) intermingled with working (whenever the money ran out.) Eventually they stumbled upon a remote area in the mountains of southern Spain where they bought the small almond farm they now call home.

No electricity, no neighbors, no chocolate shops, but on the plus side, stunning scenery, a vineyard to make her own red wine, and far enough away from anywhere to satisfy Nina’s hermit tendencies. She shares the farm with her husband, and an ever increasing number of animals, including Piggles, a three-legged Vietnamese pot-bellied pig.

Nina now spends her days riding her mare Gencianna under the blue Spanish skies—sunshine and ponies. She reckons this is proof that dreams really can come true if you want them enough.

She still travels, but usually only in her imagination, and can often be found lying under a fig tree, wine in hand, plotting stories of love in faraway places.

Nina believes love can come to anyone, anytime, anywhere and her books reflect this.

Feuding families.
Enemies to lovers.
Diamonds at every turn.

Off-the-charts chemistry that neither of them was expecting.

Roman is a tall, gorgeous, and arrogant tycoon who wants to make a name for himself and step out from under his father’s control. He meets his match when he seduces his sultry and curvy rival, Juliana, to get the upper hand on a business deal.

Their business? All about the D… as in diamonds.

But Juliana is no fool. She knows the art of the double-cross, and sees Roman’s cocky tricks — and his generous package — coming at her from a mile away.

Now, he’s about to find out that sometimes, faking it can turn into something real. And when it does, he’s the one who won’t want to let go.

An intensely sinful full-length standalone romance. Hate to Crave You is a modern spin on Romeo and Juliet with twists, turns, and a happily ever after ending that’ll steal your heart, from Wall Street Journal and USA Today bestselling author, Bella Love-Wins.

I’m a Wall Street Journal (Begging for Bad Boys, April, 2017) and USA Today (Begging for Bad Boys, Alpha for the Holidays, Shifters in the Snow: Bundle of Joy, Shifters in the Shadows) Bestselling Author.

I love reading and writing steamy, high-action romance stories about firefighters, billionaires, and alpha males who know what they want and aren’t afraid of laying claim to the women who catch their interest. I love a happy ever after ending. I enjoy reading, hiking, the countryside, and traveling to destinations unspoiled by commercial tourism, like Las Vegas… 🙂

Like so many characters in my novels, I enjoy action, romance and unexpected love connections that take your breath away. For the next while, you’ll find me plotting and writing about my latest stories on my Macbook.

BLURB:

He’s a hockey player, not a housekeeper.

Cameron Bowes is the face of the San Francisco Dragons, so when the team needs a gimmick to improve their fan relations, Cameron becomes the focus of the new video “At Home with a Dragon”. Unfortunately for Cam, his bachelor pad looks like an earthquake hit it. Repeatedly.

She’s the sexy maid a teammate hires as a joke.

Dakota Kelly has been working non-stop since she was unexpectedly awarded custody of her young niece. Though the little girl’s grandmother swooped in to help, the old woman’s overbearing ways have left Dakota no choice but to work as a janitor and moonlight as a maid in the hopes of one day getting some much-needed space from her niece’s highly controlling Nana.

Lucky for Cam, Dakota turns out to be the miracle worker he desperately needs, and he jumps at the chance to hire her as his live-in housekeeper. Soon, the two can no longer ignore their smoldering chemistry, and it seems turning their business relationship into a happily-ever-after for all three of them will be the next play. There’s just one problem: Nana doesn’t approve, and she’s not about to let her granddaughter go without a fight.

Clean Sweep may be read and enjoyed as a standalone sports romance!

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 4 Stars

This was a really adorable friends-to-lovers story between Cameron, who is a total slob, and Dakota, the maid hired by his hockey team to clean up his mess of a home before a promotional video. Their meet-cute is a rather interesting one when “Suzette” walks out wearing lingerie and heels to clean his place! There is a nice attraction between the two right out of the gate, but the fact that Dakota is trying to keep custody of her niece (and is already secretly working as an “eye candy” maid because the pay is awesome) and lives a very straight-and-narrow life has her putting Cam off.

Cam is a bit of a wild card, and Dakota grounds him, while he helps her learn that it’s okay to live a little and have fun. The pace of the story moves along nicely, little Zinny is adorable, and I love how Cam falls for both ladies.

Overall, this is a great series starter and I look forward to seeing what comes next for the Dragons! I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.

BLURB

Available in audio first, New York Times best-selling author Laurelin Paige’s newest red-hot romance!

Weston King knows how to play. But wild nights and owning an extensive collection of women’s panties don’t carry the thrill they once did, so when his business partner Donovan suggests an outrageous plan to allow them to take over their competition, Wes takes him up on the offer. The crazy idea? Marry the competitor.

Elizabeth Dyson, the bride-to-be in question, is on board with the plan. She wants access to her trust fund and can only get it once she marries. Each has something the other wants – all they have to do is pretend to like each other well enough to tie the knot.

Only trouble is, playing fiancé to Elizabeth isn’t quite that simple. Wes finds her sexy and brilliant…and soon wishes their engagement wasn’t fake at all. Not that he’d ever tell her that.

But a lover boy like Wes can only stand an empty bed for so long…and even the best of players has to put down his cards eventually.

EXCERPT

I looked at the windows past him, trying to distract myself. Lights flashed and swirled around the dance floor in time to the beat, the only part of the music which made it into the sanctuary of the bubble room. I could tell it was crowded, but I couldn’t make out faces the way they could probably make out ours. “I don’t know if anyone’s looking,” I said.

“Don’t worry about them. Just focus on what you’re doing.”

Easy for him to say. He wasn’t facing them. He was only looking at me.

Nope. I couldn’t think about that either. Just had to focus on the task at hand.

I closed my eyes. “So just pretend that I… That we are… That under my dress…” I couldn’t even say it.

Weston leaned forward and murmured near my ear. “Yes, pretend that under your dress you are not wearing any panties. I have my dick out. I’m working you, and you are showing me exactly how you like it. Now go.”

Just like that, my panties were damp.

I didn’t know if he was saying those things to loosen me up or to get a rise out of me, either was possible.

Whatever his intent, it did the trick. He set the scene. I felt my face flush like the women in the videos as I imagined him rubbing his crown against my slit before nudging his tip inside and then burying himself to the hilt.

I opened my mouth in a silent gasp, acting out how I was sure it would feel. Good. It would feel so good.

This was so…weird. So hot and sexy and arousing and weird.

I wondered if he was feeling it too, feeling turned on, or if it was just me. It wasn’t like I could ask though, and knowing probably wouldn’t help my performance anyway.

So I concentrated on me. Focused on the task.

“Do I move or something?” I bucked my hips forward and felt the friction against my crotch as it rubbed the fly of his pants.

Mmm.

“Yeah,” he said breathlessly. “That’s good. That motion. Just like that.”

“Okay. Okay.” I rocked against him again, and again, my hips tilting back and forth, my clit brushing against his fly. Every time, stroking and kindling a fire in a fireplace I hadn’t had cleaned for some time. I spread my thighs a little wider and braced my knees against the bench so I could swing my pelvis all the way forward, in and out, in and…

Oh.

I froze. “Is that—?” But I didn’t have to ask. There was most definitely a fat, thick ridge pressed against the crotch panel of my panties. I guess that answered the question of whether he was feeling it too.

My eyes flew open. “Oh my God!”

“Look,” he said, ready to defend himself. “There’s an extremely attractive woman sitting on my lap. I cannot help what happens to my cock. It has a mind of its own.”

A really big mind of its own.

She is a sucker for a good romance and gets giddy anytime there’s kissing, much to the embarrassment of her three daughters. Her husband doesn’t seem to complain, however. When she isn’t reading or writing sexy stories, she’s probably singing, watching Game of Thrones or The Walking Dead, or dreaming of Michael Fassbender. She’s also a proud member of Mensa International though she doesn’t do anything with the organization except use it as material for her bio. As we enter the massive hotel lobby, the hotel manager greets us, and instructs us to pack up.
“The studio is moving you to a suite.”
I raise my eyebrows at Jeff as the manager hands us four new key cards.
“Room 1182.” He smiles and holds a hand out to me. “And may I be the first at the Hyatt to offer my congratulations.”
After he shakes all of our hands, I grin, stupefied, as we make our way to the elevator.
“I wonder what perks we get if we make it through next week,” Jeff says.
“We’ll make it through next week,” Sebastian tells him, always the optimist. “Eli can bring the high. Right, dude?” He nudges my shoulder.
I nod, but can’t bring myself to answer.
We pack up in a flurry of bags and clothes and toiletries. I grab everyone’s toothpaste and toothbrushes from the bathroom sink, figuring we’ll sort them out upstairs. Sebastian and Jeff grab their still open duffel bags and head for the door.
“We’re gonna check out the new digs.” Jeff is already halfway to the elevator.
I’m eager to see it too, but if I know Jeff and Sebastian, they won’t bother coming back down once they’re comfortable in our new suite, and there’s still a lot of stuff left behind. I find shoes in the closet that aren’t mine and a watch in the night stand drawer.
Sonny crouches to roll the sleeping bag he’d prepared for himself on the floor. I fold my clothes so they won’t wrinkle too badly and place them gently into my bag.
When I’m done with my clothes, I head to do a last check of the bathroom while Sonny double-checks under the beds. A knock sounds at the door, probably housekeeping, coming to see if we’re out yet.
“Can you let them know we’ll be done in five,” I call to Sonny.
He grunts out a yes. As I’m leaning over the tub to grab Sebastian’s shampoo bottle, he calls out, “Uh, Eli…?”
I roll my eyes. Even though Sonny’s a year older than both Sebastian and I, he seems the least schooled in life experience.
“Just tell them…” I say as I come out of the bathroom.
And then I promptly drop Sebastian’s shampoo bottle. I don’t even notice if it opens or splatters onto the carpet.
“Kass?”
I blink twice and then I’m barreling toward her, wrapping her in my arms. It takes me several seconds to realize she’s truly, actually here, another several seconds to realize Sonny’s trying to get my attention and ask if it’s OK if he heads upstairs.
“Yeah, go, go,” I say, waving him with the hand on Kass’s back.
She pulls away. “What?”
“No, not you.” I pull her back into me. “Definitely not you.”
We stand there in the open doorway, holding each other. Her heart beats rapidly against my chest, and it might be a minute later, or it might be an hour when it starts to slow.
“You came,” I say, eventually.
“Yup,” she replies in her tough voice, and maybe it’s my need to balance her out, but my reply comes back velvety soft.
“I’m glad you came,” I tell her. “I’ve missed you.”
“Mmm,” she replies, which I’m well aware is the closest thing I’ll ever get to “I’ve missed you too, Eli.”

Rock Free:
Point Break’s lead guitarist, Wes Shaw, is all about living free—free career choices, free to do as he pleases, free love. As the band’s remaining bachelor, he gets his pick of women and men. But when Wes gets stuck in an elevator with a gorgeous, innocent vixen ready to test her wild side, everything changes.
Sara Crawford is the daughter of a famous TV evangelist getting to know her true self in New York City. Normally, she hides her passionate nature, but when she’s trapped with her favorite rock guitarist, she finds a sensual way to keep her mind off her claustrophobia.
The moment they’re rescued from the elevator, however, Sarah flees. Normally, Wes would move on, but now that he’s met Sara? He can’t let go. Can Wes convince Sara that she rocks a part of him he never knew existed? And will Sara risk alienating her family to stand by her bad boy’s side forever?

Synopsis

“Either I was seeing things, or Cooper was stalking down the aisle toward us. In his underwear. Nope, I wasn’t seeing things. It was my nightmare come true.”

Moving back to my family’s winery seemed like a good idea. I can save money, be closer to my family… But I forgot that when you’re the baby of the family—and your three older brothers are basically insane—life can get complicated.

Dating? Forget about it. I’m the forbidden one. There isn’t a bad boy in this town who’s bad enough to go after Brynn Miles. Not with my brothers acting like human chastity belts.

Finding love isn’t my focus anyway. Except… there’s this guy. And he’s kind of amazing. I didn’t see him coming, and it figures I’d fall for the one guy in the world I shouldn’t. He’s T-R-O-U-B-L-E. Untouchable. And just as forbidden as I am.

Am I ready to put my whole family on the line for a fiery case of lust? But what if it isn’t? What if it’s love?

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 5 Stars

Forbidden Miles is everything I wanted for Brynn and Chase! I was seriously shipping these two while I was reading the first Miles family book, and I was so happy that Claire Kingsley paired up Brynn Miles with her brother Cooper’s best friend!

While Cooper (and his lack of pants!) stole the show more than once in this story, I loved how Brynn and Chase’s falling in love deeply affected the relationships not only between the best friends, but the siblings as well. It is a rocky road that they all must learn to navigate before they come to a place where Cooper accepts his best friend’s relationship with the baby sister he is so overprotective of.

I love the fact that the engagement happens mid-book rather than at the end, because it adds a whole other layer to the “forbidden romance” aspect to Chase and Brynn’s relationship.

As a couple, they are so damn sweet and everything about their story was perfection. The ongoing story of the MIA Miles family patriarch continues in Forbidden Miles, and we get to know half sister Grace a bit more. I cannot wait to see what CK has in store for the other family members!

I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.
