BLURB:
Iβve always been a wild card β the first to start a fight on the ice, and the life of the party off it β but appearances can be deceiving.
Being traded to the Boston Rebels could not have come at a better time. With serious family obligations to fulfill and a contract renewal with a new hockey team on the line, I have no time for anything else. I return to Boston knowing I need to buckle down and focus on what really matters.
But the first night Iβm back in town, I come face to face with Audrey, my college calculus tutor. We had a brief fling right before I was drafted into the NHL. Now, her five year old son is standing by her side, and I donβt need a tutor to do that kind of math.
Audrey insists she doesnβt want me involved in Grahamβs life unless I can commit to being a dad. With everything else going on, this is the worst possible timing.
But every minute I spend with Graham and Audrey feels exactly right, and Iβm left questioning everything I thought I wanted.
Because now my goals are shifting, and getting what I really want might come at the expense of the game Iβve given my entire life to.

Sunny Shelly’s Review: 3.5 Stars
Center Ice was a cute second-chance, secret baby romance from a new-to-me author.
Five years ago, before Drew got drafted to the NHL and moved away, he had a fling with his college math tutor, Audrey. Now he’s back in town… and discovers that he has a young son. While this story was enjoyable, albeit predictable, I felt like there was more smut than substance. I wanted to see more between Drew, Audrey and Graham than I did. I felt I was *told* more than I was *shown* — and this book had a great premise and a lot of promise, so I was a bit disappointed.
But… I listened to this on audio, so I got to hear my fave, Teddy Hamilton, along with Andi Arndt. And I will listen to Teddy read anything.
I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.
