It started with a lie, but it ended with the most beautiful truth! Truth picks up in the same scenario where Lie left off… Brian’s world is shattered, and he’s now lost everything. I really despised Brian by the end of Lisa Suzanne’s Destiny trilogy, but my heart broke for him in this duet. He really is a changed man, and he recognizes that karma has come around to bite him after years of lies, manipulation and betrayal.
As he repairs his relationships with so many people in his life, Brian also realizes how utterly alone he is due to his actions over the years. Truth takes Brian on a long journey of self-exploration, and he really comes out on the other side as a redeemed man.
