| Pippa Grant expands the circle of friends in Hot Heir with a marriage-of-convenience story between bodyguard Viktor and sassy Southern Belle Peaches. Like every other book in this series. Pippa gives lots of charm, lots of awkward but hilarious moments, and two characters that you are cheering for from the get-go.
Royal bodyguard Viktor learns that he’s the heir to his own kingdom… but needs to be married. Peaches needs to retain custody of her teenaged sister, but the judge won’t give it to her unless she’s married. A marriage of convenience is born between the two completely opposite characters, but they are just so perfect together, they fit. Even though Peaches and Viktor were peripheral characters in other books and I never imagined that they’d get their own stories… it just worked! I love this crazy group of characters that PG has created and I hope she continues to give us more! I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review. |
