Sunny Shelly’s Review: 4 Stars
The blurb for this book sounded hysterical, and the story itself did not disappoint! From start to finish, Doppelbanger was laugh-out-loud funny.
Gina has no desire to settle down. She’s a successful sex therapist, loves being the cougar and playing the field. Meanwhile, widow Jeffrey is as stuffy as they come, trying to juggle his business affairs with his crumbling home life, raising two young daughters. When they cross paths on a cruise, something intense is sparked between them, and it grounds Gina while it soothes Jeffrey.

The banter between the main characters is sublimely written. Their chemistry is off the charts. Add in the perfect collection of nosy best friends, adorable kids, and some wonky situations, and Doppelbanger is a romantic comedy well worth reading.
