Sunny Shelly’s Review: 5 Stars
We first met Anna in Unconventional; she is Charlie’s high school girlfriend, the one who broke his heart and turned him into the commitmentphobe who ultimately falls in love with Quinn, aka Red. Having read Unconventional, and now Unforgivable, I cannot imagine a book world where Charlie and Anna stayed together. They were all wrong for one another. Wes is just perfect for Anna in every way, and I just loved the way that they completed one another.
From the moment that Anna and Wes meet as 12 and 14 year olds on the school playground, there is an instant connection. For years, all they will be is best friends — along with her brother, John — and the kindness that Anna’s family shows to foster kid Wes truly changes his life. But even though Wes and Anna are developing all those teenage feels for one another, he doesn’t think he’s good enough for a sweet angel like her — and makes a decision that will forever alter the course of his life. Meanwhile, Anna makes a tough decision of her own, and sets her on a course of self-loathing and misery.
But does one mistake define you? Are you allowed to move on and move past a poor choice, getting a second chance?
The themes in Unforgivable are much deeper, and maybe even a little darker, than Love’s other books. This story is intense, it’s emotional, it’s healing, it’s love, it’s forgiveness.

Isabel Love is a hopeless romantic. She loves reading about two people falling in love, overcoming whatever obstacles they may face, and finding their happily ever after. A husband, two kids, and a full-time job keep her busy by day, but by night, she can be found with her Kindle in hand, reading “just one more chapter”.
