I love that not only was this book inspired by the “hot cops” of Gainsville, FL, but that Daniel Rengering is the cover model. Perfection!
Author KJ had a sexy weekend with Tallahassee cop Rhys a year ago when he was working security at an author signing event. A major miscommunication led them to both think that they were given the brush-off. He hasn’t been able to get KJ off of his mind, and Rhys left a major impact on her life. A year later, cross paths again at the same author event — but now, Rhys has gained nationwide fame thanks to a “hot cop” photo that went viral and has landed some book covers. KJ is there promoting her newest book, “Hot Cop… Or Not,” which she kinda based on their weekend fling.
The two reconnect, but it is a big tangled mess that they have to work out. The chemistry between KJ and Rhys is sizzling, but there are plenty of heartwarming and sweet moments as they try to work out the issues between them.
