Sunny Shelly’s Review: 4 Stars
Going into Come Home To Me, I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Sarah is a character we’ve met in some of the other Brookside Romance books, and she’s a bit of a self-absorbed flake. I honestly can say that I didn’t really care whether or not she ever got her own story. Not only did Abby Brooks give Sarah a story, but she made her such a multi-layered character that I completely changed my opinion of the Carmichael sister! Plus, Come Back To Me is a crossover with the Wilde Brothers series Brooks writes with her husband!
Frank is a bit of an arrogant jerk, and I didn’t like him much at all in the beginning. But he slowly grew on me, much like he grew on Sarah. These two characters both have their own demons to battle, but they way they did them together and grew as a couple was pretty amazing. I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.
