Sunny Shelly’s Review: 5 ShortStack Stars
SLOOOOWWWWW BURN!
I absolutely adored this book! I loved everything about the main characters (and their supporting characters) and couldn’t wait for Rhett and Saylor to get together!

Kendall Ryan did a great job of describing just how alone Saylor is in life. The breakup with Saylor’s boyfriend that acts as the catalyst for her ultimately meeting Rhett serves to paint Peter as a complete d-bag — and her first encounters with Rhett likewise make him seem like just another arrogant ass. From there, Ryan beautifully creates a couple that this reader wanted to get together. Their banter was witty, and Saylor had a zinger of a reply for every one of Rhett’s sexual innuendos. I loved how Saylor had absolutely no clue who the guy she dubbed Whiskey actually was.

The story was sweet where it needed to be and sexy where it should have been. And a beautiful HEA for a lonely orphan who wanted to feel loved and be welcomed by a family more than anything else. An absolute delightful story!
I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.
