Have you ever wished that you could go back in time and get a do-over when it comes to the biggest mistake you’ve ever made? That you could trade yesterday for something better, something right? This was the first book I’ve read by Kahlen Aymes and I was BLOWN AWAY. This book was a rip-your-heart-out kind of rollercoaster ride between Chase, Teagen and Jensen.

Without getting into the storyline and spoiling it — because this book was just that good — I’ll say this: Teagen made a horrible choice six years ago, but it was done with the best of intentions. What I loved about the way this story was written was how Jensen and Chase also made decisions that forever affected the three of them. Now, faced with an unspeakable tragedy, the three of them need to learn how to deal with the decisions they’ve all made in order to put the past behind them.

I absolutely loved Chase as the hero. He’s an international soccer star, but this athlete showed incredible vulnerability when he and Teagen talk about their past, the secret she kept from him, and how gutted he was by her and Jensen’s betrayal when his own relationship with Teagen crumbled. And even as much as I wanted Chase and Teagen to get their second chance at love, my heart hurt for Jensen, who was only trying to do the right thing in the choice that he made all those years ago. I’m so glad that Jensen will be getting his own story, and a chance to find his HEA!
