Sunny Shelly’s Review: 4 Single Red Rose Stars
The story is set behind the scenes at a bachelor-type reality show, where Dash is the suitor and Paige is a production assistant. But what made this book more than just a forbidden romance between the star of the show and a lowly crew member is that Paige and Dash first met before the show even began, having no idea who the other is, shared a HOT hotel room hookup after barely exchanging first names… and the hottest guy she’s ever kissed literally flies away from her. Except that he doesn’t, because when Paige shows up to work on the set, she comes face to face with her seedy hotel room hookup.
Hot Bachelor is full of all the drama you’d expect from a story that takes place during the taping of a reality romance competition. But I liked that Dash makes it clear from the start that Paige is the only woman he’s interested in. For Dash, participating on the show was only about a paycheck, and McCoy does a great job at showing just how far each will go for their job, and how that very quirky job affects the relationship that Dash and Paige never expected to develop behind the camera.
