Despite her determination to not let Weston in, Juliet is more or less forced to let him know about her financial troubles due to her father’s residence in a retirement home. So Weston, who sees something different in Juliet than the other women he’s been involved with, proposes a two-week relationship in exchange for paying for her father’s care. At the end, Juliet can walk away.
But OF COURSE, that isn’t what happens, because Weston and Juliet fall in love before the two weeks is over. So when “the conflict” happens, how will they be able to reconcile their differences? Will fiercely independent Juliet allow Weston to take care of her, the way he feels she deserves to be taken care of?
Shameless Kiss just may be my favorite book yet in this series. Weston’s grand gesture to win back Juliet is definitely swoon-worthy, and he even gets her cantankerous father to lighten up by the HEA epilogue.
