This was an absolutely stellar debut novel! Isabel Love absolutely nails it with all the feels,well-developed characters, the right amount of smut, and the right amount of insecurity/unbalance from both Monica and Max in both tropes of older woman/younger man and forbidden workplace romance.

Max is so sweet and thoughtful, and mature beyond his 25 years. While Monica is only 32, she’s lived a rough few years and is soooo buttoned-up both professionally and personally. (That scene with here dad? It’s no wonder!)

Max wants “everything” with Monica, but when they come to a make-it-or-break-it point in their relationship, will her love for Max be enough, or will she sacrifice an awesome guy for the sake of her career?

For her first time out of the gate, Love crafted an excellent tale, and I can’t wait to see what comes next from this new author in this series! I received an advanced copy and voluntarily left a review.
